Although I do not own a home, I am paying for the insurance of the home. How ironic. The other day, I had a talk with my mom about increasing the policy of our homeowners insurance because that policy was taken a long time ago and what my mom did was just renew it year in and out without considering that we now have many more valuable electrical and electronic items at home.

But how much should our home be insured for? My mom has yet to speak to our insurance agent. Just now, I was doing a little research to learn more about homeowners insurance before talking to our agent to increase our policy. Little did I know that keeping two large breed dogs in our home could be considered risky in terms of insurance coverage. I just read this information from a site called HomeSecurityInformation.com.

I don’t know what happened but this morning, I was reading my Hotmail email messages and the next minute, I can’t even log into my account anymore! I tried logging in with another Hotmail account and it also does not work. I kept thinking maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me and that I have keyed in the wrong User ID or password… but they are correct.

I thought maybe the Hotmail server is down because retrieval from Outlook Express which I normally use, was f@rked up that’s why I was reading mail from my iPhone.

So I used my Nokia E61i and it was fine, I could log in. Isn’t that strange? I used my desktop and it was fine as well. Hhmmm I did a search on the internet to see if anyone else is experiencing the same problem where we kept being looped to the log in page, sometimes with an error message that our User ID or password is wrong and sometimes without any error message at all, but there was no such posts on the web.

Urghh ultra frustrated!

The management of my company assigned me to be in charge of bringing our company to a trade fair. Frankly, I know nothing about setting up booth and pushing out the name of our company and introducing our products to new people. I was told that I can just follow what my predecessor had done from booking a spot to renting banner stands, projector, laptops and briefing and assigning staff to be there on that particular day.

So after reading the documents, I was thinking that perhaps I could lower our cost a little. Of course, rental of a booth is already fixed unless we wanted an obscure spot but I believe that I could get cheaper trade show displays, projector and laptops.

The first thing I always do is to research and compare prices on the internet. Hah… did you know that I could get cheap banner stands online? I was surprised that the prices locally are way more expensive. One would think that a local store could offer us a more competitive price but that is not the case.

I think all those stark white that we have come to associate hospitals and medical clinics and laboratories with should be banned! Last weekend, I was at an iPhone owners gathering. From what I understand, many of these friends who own iPhones have also own iPods. They tell me that iPhone and iPod headphones are the same. I wouldn’t know because I only have the iPhone.

Anyway, most of these friends bought new headphones because they said that iPod headphones are too soft and they don’t look stylish enough. Did you know that even though I have been using the iPhone for two months already, my iPod headphones are still in the box?? I didn’t need it but after going to that gathering and seeing the accessories that could be used with the iPod and iPhone, I think I am going to get one too.

It’s best to be equipped with the latest so that I can show off in the next gathering! Now, I have to decide if I want to get earphones or headphones. Which do you think is better for me?
