I suppose one of the fastest way to beef up on Page Rank is to have a little link love. I would appreciate it if you could include me in your blogroll or if possible, a more effective way is to post my link within one of your posts.

Many people are asking if this blog will have paid posts, having seen what has happened to ** An Anonymous Journal **. It’s getting pretty crowded over there, isn’t it?
To be honest, this blog was started as a back up in case Blogger terminates the accounts of review writers, like what happened to WordPress free blog users.
As I said, this blog is a contingency plan. I also envision that sooner or later, advertisers will be more inclined towards having own-hosted domains to write about them. Maybe because domain names play a role in key word search in search engine marketing. I am not sure.
Therefore, I do not deny that this blog will have paid reviews in the future. However, if my Blogger is still intact, this blog will have a lot less sponsored posts. I couldn’t write that many posts a day even if I wanted to, anyway.
To be honest, I did not feel the warmth over there. Most people there are damn kiasu. They made it seem as if we were the alien invaders. If I were on the other side of the divide, I would gladly welcome the implementation of changes since there will be less qualified people and hence less competition.Â
Unfortunately, I am on this side, where my kind will be sidelined, either because of our blog host, education level, geographical location or whatever excuse that they may have now or in future.
I feel that it’s an inaccurate assumption that own-hosted blogs are superior to free sub-domain blogs. In fact, Blogger blogs are so idiot-proof that they get indexed even without doing anything, except blog. So it’s unfair to also exclude people with high Page Rank free hosted blogs.
Well, I guess it’s time to let go. It’s time to move on. Play time is over. Now, I just wanna concentrate on building my blogs, especially this baby. And how about some Korean drama? Anyone?
After I have placed my avatar for ** An Anonymous Journal ** on a 40 X 40 pixel block on FuelMyBlog.com, I was pretty impressed with the click through I received. Looking at the pace FuelMyBlog is developing over the past couple of days, I thought I’d book another block for this blog, before someone grabs that choice spot! I hope Kevin would not mind.
I think a 40 X 40 pixel is very generous of them since it’s free publicity for our blogs and MySpace.

As a new blog, one of the challenges that lie ahead, I’m sure all bloggers have been through this, is to get the word out that THIS BLOG IS BORN. I suppose it’s gonna be a big challenge for me, bigger than the one I faced with ** An Anonymous Journal ** the blog formerly known as ** An Anonymous Crap Sheet ** because I have less time to devote on this blog, perhaps even no time at all, except for posting, which can be scheduled to publish throughout the week.
This blog is born out of necessity. As it stands now, maintaining ** An Anonymous Journal ** is a full time job, what with writing two paid posts plus two original interim posts a day. That makes four posts a day, on top of my regular job and taking care of the household and two monkeys.
I guess I will just take one day at a time.
When I first started this blog, I was rather apprehensive about treading the WordPress waters. I have been using Blogger powered blogs all along and I did not relish the change. For the template on ** An Anonymous Journal **, I spent two whole days customizing and personalizing it till “perfection”. Yes, it took me that long because I did not know anything about HTML and stuff but after that episode, I can say that I’m pretty familiar with customizing Blogger templates now.
It’s a different story with WordPress. It is not that I am unwilling to learn something new. I am always game for new things but I can ill afford the time to go by trial and error.
I spent a few days searching for a WordPress theme that I like. I found this and was all gung-ho about customizing it. But with all the confusing separate files, I think I have given up, for now.
I’ll just be using the default layout for the time being, I guess.

As mentioned, I thought about moving to a own hosted domain, so here I am. This is a sub-domain off www.cyberpartygal.com, which points to her WebStore, like it has always been.
There are also a few other blogs under this domain but this is mine, all mine.
I have named this blog Blank Canvas because I have no idea which direction it will be headed towards. I liken myself to an artist with a blank canvas, waiting for inspiration to come. So either I create a masterpiece or I smudge my canvas with blobs of paint and spoiling the canvas.
