GDF Fulfillment Solutions: Offering More Than Fulfillment Solutions

GDF Fulfillment Solutions is an American company, that despite its name, offers more than fulfillment solutions and include distribution and warehousing solutions. If you have a large online store, I am sure you would require warehousing for your inventory and an efficient way to fulfill all orders that come in online.

I had the chance to check out the website of GDF Fulfillment Solutions recently and I think that their services are perfect for companies that are in the online wholesale business. Not only will GDF Fulfillment Solutions provide you with warehousing service, they could even process your bulk orders and ship them out to your clients accurately and efficiently.

Time is of the essence when it comes to retail, especially online retail and it is the wholesaler’s responsibility to ensure that all orders are shipped out in a timely manner so that clients could fulfill the orders of their own clients. It is a chain reaction so the whole system has to be smooth.

Besides offering distribution and warehousing services and order fulfillment, it is the job of GDF Fulfillment Solutions to ensure that you run your business in a professional way no matter the size of your company.

Launch of A Glitter Club

So yesterday was the launch of the glitter club of a local blog advertising network. Did you opt in? I did not. Mainly because I do have money at stake on the other blog advertising network, I have already cashed out a cheque from them while my money is still locked to this account. I won prizes through this company while I did not win any from this company. Sure, I did not even bother to participate, seeing how the inner crowd are always winner. Maybe I don’t carry enough balls. Maybe it is because the boss “hates Ipoh girls”. Whatever it is, I am not going to declare my love and loyalty for one company.

While I also do not “love” the other rival company, I am not going to put my eggs in one basket. By declaring your loyalty to this said company, you are effectively closing the door not on this rival company alone but on ALL other South East Asian blog advertising companies.

Although there aren’t that many companies in the industry right now, who is to say there won’t be any in the near future who could offer us better terms without enforcing all these limitations on us?

A Modern Office

I was at my friend’s office last week where he has an IT room to control and manage the internet and servers of the company. I was surprised that he found the need to have a dedicated room like that equipped with all the modern computing and internet gadgetry. He says that this room is like the nucleus of his company and thanks to technology, his company is now being run cost effectively and efficiently.

For someone like him who had a phobia of technology previously, I was happy to see that he has now embraced technology and what it could offer us. His IT room was so well equipped and neat, he even has LAN racks for his servers. I thought that only dot com start ups would need that many servers!

VersaTables.com is an American company that manufactures furniture for schools and offices including LAN racks, medical computer furniture, chairs and stools, computer lab furniture like computer carts and many more. If the design that you are looking for in your furniture is not available on VersaTables.com, you could place a custom order too!

The fact that VersaTables manufactures these furniture themselves means that we will be able to purchase them at a very attractive price since there is no middleman.

YaY! Fring Supports AIM & Yahoo! Messenger

This morning, I logged into Fring on my Nokia E61i device and a message popped up that it now supports AIM and Yahoo! Messenger. Yay! I am so happy because I only use Fring for chatting on the go with my MSN contacts while I use Instango to chat with my AIM contacts. However, now that Fring supports AIM, I no longer have to log in to Instango. Why open two different applications when I can do the same things with one?

Fring now also has new Fringtones and we can even set our own Fringtones and not use the default ones if we want a change. And now they have vibrate mode as well. However, there is still room for improvement.

What I would like to see an improvement on is the ability to hide my offline contacts. Why have them appear on screen when they are offline and not contactable?

Another thing I would like to see changed is the ability to adjust the ring volume. Boy, that Fring sound is really loud, sharp and jarring, especially in the dead of the night when everyone is already asleep, except yours truly.

And I noticed a bug on Fring. I have a contact on my MSN list that I already deleted from my desktop MSN but it is still on my Fring. I wonder why….

Opt For Acrylic Aquariums

A couple of weeks ago, I was at the office of a friend. He has an aquarium in the lounge and I marveled at the way he could keep his aquarium so clean. I remember that it was such a chore for me to keep mine clean and not stink the whole house. I gave up keeping fish after awhile although I still would love to have an aquarium at home one day if I know the trick of maintaining a clean tank.

Coincidentally, I was told to check out the website of FishTankDirect.com, a website that specializes in fish tanks and other aquarium accessories. I was amazed that there are so many different shapes of aquariums available. I mean, the ones that are so common here are the rectangular and quarter cylinder tanks but I don’t believe I have seen the Wave and Living Picture before. It must be a wonderful sight to have these in any room!

I learned that acrylic aquariums are the ones to use now because they are seamless, clear, light yet strong. I like the idea of not having silicone seams. I remember what a tough time I had scrubbing water mold from the inside seams of my aquarium. It was horrible and took too much time.

Now that I know better, I will be opting for acrylic aquariums instead of conventional fish tanks.

5GB Windows Live Mail

I wonder how many people noticed that Windows Live mail, formerly known as Hotmail, is now offering us 5GB of space. Well, I would not have known about it if I did not log into my account this morning to check the people who are in my contacts list.

Firstly, although I know that Microsoft have rebranded Hotmail to be a part of Windows Live, I would still always refer to it as Hotmail. Similarly, I would always refer to Microsoft’s internet browser as IE and not Windows Internet Explorer. As the saying goes, you can’t tea old dog new tricks.

What do you think we should do with the 5GB of storage space? Don’t they think that they are giving it to us a little too late? I am actually not that concern about how much storage we have since I have Gmail [spank me for still using a Goo—- product!] for that but my main concern is how large a file we could attach in a single attachment.

Besides, I although I use Hotmail and MSN Messenger (I know, I know, it’s Windows Live Messenger NOW), I access my Hotmail email from Microsoft’s Outlook Express and I occassionally send out email with my Hotmail access via Gmail. That’s what I like about Gmail.

Which Is The Best DVD Player?

I may own an Apple iPhone and a Nokia E61i but I don’t own a DVD player. Can you believe that? Hah I am not as high tech as I sound. The reason I do not even own a DVD player is because I hardly watch TV. I only subscribed to satellite TV for its bill so that I can verify my home address with a financial institution and it is watched mainly by my father.

The other day, my father asked me to buy a DVD player. It was cheap, less than a hundred bucks only but I didn’t want a China-brand DVD player because their quality is sub-standard. I figured that if I were to buy one, I would want to buy the best DVD player currently in the market.

Technology moves so swiftly that if I do not buy the best DVD player now, I would forever be playing catch up since new models are released quickly, too quickly sometimes.

So my question is, which is the best DVD player right now that is reasonably priced? Any suggestions?
