The other day, shortly after being rank spanked, I got a fright when my traffic statistics did not record any traffic at all. I was thinking that maybe my blog has unfortunately been de-indexed from the major search engine and that’s why internet users were not able to come to my blog from search results. But then I also thought, don’t tell me not even one person is using Yahoo! Search?

Since I do not have any other traffic trackers on my blog except StatCounter which I am using via the plug-in, I thought I would check out my traffic from my NuffNang account. Traffic records are one hour delayed but that is good enough. It was well into the day already and my StatCounter was still showing a big fat zero for a few blogs.

NuffNang was able to record my traffic and I was pretty relieved. To double confirm, I visited these affected blogs from my iPhone using the Safari browser and true enough, my visit was not recorded.

Phew, believe me when I say that I got a scare!

A couple of weeks ago, I wanted to help my neighbor get some home medical supplies. You may remember me mentioning that his wife suddenly fell ill. It’s the start of a brand new year once again and I am still not able to find time to enroll myself in a college. Like mentioned previously, I already know that my only hope of gaining a higher education is through online education. Elearning is nothing new to my family as my Uncle has an elearning institute where he arranges classes online for his students who are all working adults.

I was introduced to Capella University, an accredited university that has offline and online campuses and was established in 1993. I was told that I would be able to enroll in whatever course I am interested in because they do have many courses, from certification courses to undergraduate to post graduate studies. I could even study masters in psychology if I wanted to, provided I qualify, of course!

I know I have to be proactive and do something about it if I want to improve myself. I don’t want to procrastinate any longer!
