I saw the announcement about the launch of Blogger Play on my Blogger blog upon signing in about a week ago. Yes, I know I am slacking here :-)

I thought to myself, who the hell has the time to waste to stare at the screen at all those images that Blogger bloggers upload? Can you imagine how pathetic it is to sit at the computer watching the world virtually go by?

Anyway, I decided to check it out to see what the fuss is all about. I must admit, despite thinking that I will never have the time to sit around watching the screen and reading which blogger is from where, I think I watched more than a hundred images before I snapped myself out of it. Boy, it sure is addictive.

I think that if someone spends the whole day watching Blogger Play, there must be something wrong with that person. In a way, watching the images go by, I feel like a voyeur. And it’s making me think three times each time I upload any image on my Blogger blogs now.

However, Blogger Play is great if you run out of topics to blog about.

Hassle-Free Cheap Brochure Printing

This morning, as I was surfing the internet, I remember that I was told to check out Cheap Brochure Printing. I like surfing the internet but not when it feels like working and I have a task to do but I was told to do it and I have to, I guess.

So I went around the internet looking for online printing companies which could offer us Brochure Printing at the best prices. I even called up a few friends and text them but none seem to be able to tell me. Of course, they have their favorite printers but those are not as cheap as we would like them to be. We don’t have a large budget and yet we would like quality print work. Oops that sure sounds familiar!

I finally came to know of Wholesale Printing Direct. To me, when I hear the word WHOLESALE, I have the impression that they are offering me something good but at a low price and in this case, I am happy to note that I am not disappointed. Of course, the final price will depend on what options we select for our brochures.

Wholesale Printing Direct is a full-fledged printing company and I think that we could combine our order of brochure printing with other card products because they are so cheap!

Just a minute ago, I received a comment on my blog post right after I published it. I think that fella is using a programme script or something to leave comments because it is highly impossible that he can leave a comment as soon as I hit publish. I even thought that the comment was from my friend when I saw the email notice coming in from this fella who shares the same name as a friend of mine. Anyway, there is no possible way that he knows that I have a new post unless he was looking at my blog right at that minute or he is using a programming script or something.

Anyway, you know what? In the so-called “comment”, he asked “me” (actually not only me but every blogger whom he has left a comment for, since this is a mass comment and not personalized) to visit his site (OK, fine) and ……. tada! CLICK ON HIS GOOGLE ADSENSE!

Is that is violation of Google Adsense ToS or what???

I would have copied his comment over here just to share it with you but it is so damn long I think it’s just a real waste of my blog real estate!

It really is unbelievable the things that people do!

I was a student who was not very bright but I worked hard. However, I felt that if I had some private coaching I would have performed better. Let me blame my teachers who preferred to channel their energy on private tuition rather than giving their all to students in their class. This was a rampant discrepancy but students like me who were not from well to do backgrounds were not able to afford to attend their private tuition class.

Students nowadays are very fortunate. Almost all of them have at least one private Tutor. And due to advancement in technology, there is a site like ClubZ which offers one to one personalized tuition to students at their convenience.

Contextual vs. Content Link

A couple of days ago, I was blog hopping when someone left a comment on a blog that says that she leaves a blog that is heavily monetized with contextual links. Now, that got me thinking. While I know that once a blog is monetized, many readers will leave because they simply do not like the fact that we are being paid to blog. Maybe they are unable to do it themselves? But I digress…

The thing is, I have no problems reading post after post of sponsored posts that have contextual links cleverly inserted into a regular paragraph, even if they come one after another consecutively.

However, I find that it is more irritating and off putting to have Content Links with those small bubble ads popping up every chance they have, in post and in comments.

Tell me, what is worse to you?

Leading Austin Commercial Realtor

As I was surfing the internet, I came upon Don Cox, an Austin Commercial Real Estate agency with 25 years of experience. I have been told by my Texan friend that Texas has a very vibrant real estate market and it is especially so for commercial real estate. That was why I was so impressed with the track record that has been achieved by Don Cox.

I have been keeping track of Texas real estate recently because my friend is expanding his business and he has narrowed down a few cities to branch out to, Austin being one of them. He has heard that Don Cox is a leading commercial real estate agency in Texas and he told me that Don Cox does not impose charges on tenants and buyers. Their fees will be taken care of by the Seller or landlord.

As a potential tenant, this is great news. Any savings is always appreciated, isn’t it?

Freeform Rules

As a blog for pay blogger with I-don’t-know how many posts in my name, I find that the best way for a blogger to write is freeform posts. It is so easy to just throw links into a post without having to explain the product or hard sell it based on advertiser’s requirements.

Freeform posts are just posts that we normally would write, or keywords that we could easily fit into our posts and they are easy to complete and saves time. At least we do not have to spend time at the website of the advertiser trying to understand the product or service.

To me, if given a choice, I would pick freeform posts to write over others even if the payout may be lower. However, freeform posts are not necessarily what some advertisers would want. These are only suitable for people looking for links back to their site.

If I were an advertiser, I too would be opting for short freeform posts. I wouldn’t want people to help me “sell” something that they have never used before, you know? It is unfair to the blogger and it is unfair to the reader too. Don’t you think so?
