Should She Get Teak Wood Furniture?

My sister told me to check out an online store that sells teak garden furniture and told me that she has been planning to put together some money to buy them for her garden. I find that she is rather weird because she has been spending way too much money on her house, doing home improvement projects and adding things like fixtures and furniture, and this time, she is telling me she wants those teak tables for her yard and also some matching teak benches.

She said that she saw these on the website Teak Wood Patio Furniture. Go take a look. Do you think that my sister should get them? This is considering that she hardly has time to laze around at home when most of her waking hours are spent at work. Just like me in fact!

Although I may tell her not to get it and she may agree, I know that my sister will quietly buy them and then send me pictures to show me her new purchases and what a good job she has done decorating her home and garden.

I Can Blog About Anything Except ……

There was a dry spell of paid posting over last weekend and I was so bored out of my mind looking for something to blog about so I logged into this marketplace. I remember that I only had ten miserable items on my list and the first one that caught my eye was for a post on alternative plastic surgery.

Suffice to say, after checking out the website of the advertiser, I nearly threw up my dinner and could not bring myself to blog about it.

After one year in this, I thought that I could blog about anything with eyes closed. I’ve talked about boob jobs, nose jobs, liposculpture, “Viagra” and visited just about any website and I hope I did a good job with each and every post that I wrote and given the sponsors due value and exposure but to write about plastic surgery down south, I could not do it, besides the fact that I do not have an appropriate blog for that no matter how I spin it.

And to think that I could not write it although I am a girl when I see so many other people, GUYS no less, who happily wrote about this topic without feeling anything.

Brochure Printing Online

I saw supposed to help my friend look for cheap Brochure Printing and I suggested that he does it online. He is going to start his little business selling mobile phones and accessories in a local mall and we have asked around local printers and their prices are exorbitant!!

I told my friend that what he needs is a printer who could deliver his brochures in a timely manner, cheap, reliable and of good standard and quality. He agrees and it is very important to be able to get everything ready for his launch! I am very excited about it and it isn’t even my own business! Haha 😀 But it is a very important occasion so everything has to be “perfect”!

Mailbox To Mark Your Home

If you have been following my blog, you would know that my sister has a new home. She told me that homes in her neighborhood do not have fencing and sent me some phone to view. That would be rather odd for me.

From her photos, each house has a post mounted mailbox out front before going into the driveway. My sister says it is very convenient for the postman to deliver mail this way without coming up the driveway of every house.

According to my sister, Gaines Mailboxes are very popular among her neighbors because of the design, workmanship and finishing. My sister told me that she went to the website of Gaines and from their vast collection of mailboxes, what she wants to buy is the Signature Keystone Mailbox. However, her boyfriend would rather have the Gaines Classic Mailbox.

I think they better come to an early decision because Gaines is having a sale where they would be able to save up to 20% off market price and they would even get free shipping!

Wrong Blog

This morning, I accepted a task that should have gone to a more appropriate blog but now it will be on a wrong blog and although some people may not have any qualms about posting any and all topics on their blogs, I try to be as tight as possible when it comes to my niche blogs.

If it was a general blog, I would feel differently because over at my general blog, I write everything on it and they all will fit in without a problem.

Sigh, I know I can write into Customer Service but I like to get my pending tasks completed instantly and not waste time waiting for a reply for my ticket. By the way, I submitted a ticket to them many months ago and it was not replied to so I would rather not write in for this and spend the next couple of days waiting instead of blogging.

So I guess I will have to make an exception this time and hope I will not repeat the same mistake. Sleepless nights will do this to me o.O”

Medtronic’s Sprint Fidelis Recall

This past year, I have blogged about many product recalls. It started with the contact lens solution, a hernia patch, a contraceptive patch, dog food, a children’s toy and some that I have even forgotten about. When I heard about the Medtronic Recall, I jumped at the chance to blog about it. I feel that as a responsible blogger, it is my duty to inform others who may be seeking information on these recalled products. I know from experience that these are traffic drivers. And I just mentioned in a couple of posts below that I love checking my traffic stats!

Also, my cousin sister has an implantable defibrillator to control her irregular heart rhythm when she was only a teenager. I am not sure if she is using Sprint Fidelis since I just found out about this recall and it is now 1am here. I will have to speak to her first thing tomorrow to ask if she using Medtronic defibrillator and if she already knows of this product recall already.

I hope my cousin sister is not using Sprint Fidelis and if she is, she is not using Models 6930, 6931, 6948 or 6949. I read that these models have an exceptionally high level of lead and the side effects of having such a foreign object implanted in our body include various health complications that could lead to death! It is very shocking! So now you know why this particular product recall is so closed to my heart.

I have also read that patients have already engaged attorneys to file lawsuits and seek damages and just like the recall of previous medical devices, some patients have grouped together to file a group lawsuit. I believe that by doing so, they have a greater chance of winning their case or receive a larger compensation. I am not sure if I am right in this, though!

I wonder if my cousin is one of the affected patients, if she could engage a lawyer here to help her with her case.

Google Paid Tribute To Luciano Pavarotti

OK, I know this post is horribly late but eh, I was busy with some other posts that required more urgent attention!

Anyway, did you notice the little image of Luciano Pavarotti on Google on 12th October? In Malaysia, when I noticed it, it was already 13th October. It’s interesting to note that Pavarotti’s likeness was an L on Google. haha! I thought he would make an O better!

I hovered my cursor over the picture and it just wrote “Luciano Pavarotti” and I think they should have written something like “Luciano Pavarotti (October 12, 1935 – September 6, 2007)” so that people would know instantly why Google paid tribute to him.

As a great fan of Luciano Pavarotti myself, I am very glad to have caught this image and took a screen capture of it. Heh.. I told you I use Google daily!
