A Door Closes, A Window Opens

If you are suffering from the same Google fate as I am, and blogging for pay, I am sure you would know that many marketplaces are now closed to us. Well, what is there to do but to continue looking for more monetization options?

Have you already heard of BloggerWave? I have joined them from the early days and have made a little money from them. To some people, it may not be much but to me, I appreciate any opportunity I can get. I have not had any issue with bloggerwave before and I do not expect any from them. I have so far received all payments on the dot.

I do, however, wish that more advertisers will support them, Europe’s largest blog advertising marketplace. This would of course mean more jobs for us BloggerWave members. Some doors may have closed but a new BloggerWave window opens.

Get Tips From The Pros

If you have been dabbling in options and not doing very well, then you should probably get some professional help. Did you know that by using iron condor, you will limit your loss? Iron condor is when you take up four different positions with four different strike prices in options but do you know which positions you should be holding? Theory is always easy but implementation takes experience.

That’s why, to limit your loss or even eliminate it totally, you would need the help of professionals in iron condors to help you and bring back the fun in options trading. It’s fun when we win, of course.

Condor Options is projecting a 10% profit every month with just ten minutes per week devoted to this investment. Some people may think that this is a small profit margin but this is suitable for people who prefer a return that comes with low risk.

If you subscribe to the newsletter of Condor Options, you will be privy to exclusive newsletter that comes with tips and suggested trades and also participate in the subscribers-only weblog. I think that if you have always wanted to make something out of all your options trading activities, this is a very good opportunity.

Please Slap Me!

With the treatment Goog gave me and many of my fellow bloggers, I still could not help myself but use Google Search. Cheh, I thought I promised myself to use Yahoo! Search more. Yahoo! has always been kind to me and indexed so many of my pages and also gave me number positions for my keywords irrespective of whether the posts were sponsored or not.

I read that many of my similarly affected fellow bloggers have switched search engines and some even pulled off AdSense from their blogs and websites. It’s not uncommon to hear that some people were not even able to draw their first check two long years after implementing AdSense on their sites.

Some even went as far as dumping Goog shares but of course it wouldn’t make a difference to the price at all! Of all the measures taken, I have yet to hear of people dumping their Gmail accounts though! I have three Gmail accounts and cannot migrate from my accounts lol

Improve PR With Online Directory Submissions

Forgive me if I keep harping on and on about losing my Page Rank. You would be doing the same thing too if you lost two ranks for every blog that you have, like what happened to me. Talks about being penalized for selling links do not hold water because my friends are down by one rank even though they do not sell links. Heck, they don’t even have any advertisement on their site. Perhaps they should implement AdSense?

This morning, I discovered this website called PageRankSubmit.com. What they do is to help us submit our URL to a hundred web directories that have at least a Page Rank of 5. These are free directories but PageRankSubmit is charging a very reasonable $29 for “labor” because they are doing it manually. Manual submission means that each submission is valid and will not return an error.

Honestly, I am desperate for my Page Rank to move higher after the recent demotion. $29 is a great price even though I have more than ten links to submit. Just for your information, $29 is already discounted. I understand that they used to charge $39 per link.

I have actually known all along that directory submissions would help my Page Rank but I never got around to it because I was too busy blogging. If $29 is only what it takes to free up my time so that I do not have to do it myself, I am prepared to pay it.

What about you?

What Happens When Your PR Is Down?

Well, I think that most of us have suffered a PR demotion twice in the past month. What can we do? Nothing but to work on our blogs and work harder too. That’s what I am going to do and also start more blogs. Yes, I will be back!

A couple of my big time paid blogging friends have a string of blogs in the back burner, also updated regularly but are not monetized yet. However, they will bring these out if and when their working blogs are battered. With the rate they are posting, they realise that their blogs will be battered sooner or later.

Personally, I cannot manage that many blogs because I have a job to keep but to them, blogging is a full time job. Is blogging a full time job for you?

Get Your Tickets Ready

My sister told me that she won a pair of Disney Tickets in a company raffle. Well, that’s good news but my sister told me that even if she bought them, they are not expensive because she knows where to buy her discounted Orlando theme park tickets. Perhaps her company got them at a discount too and nobody would be any the wiser. Haha!

However, according to my sister, it will come in handy when she makes a trip to Florida early next year and a little savings here and there goes a long way. I was also told that these tickets sell like hot cakes and vacationers would have to plan their trip well and make sure that all tickets are bought way before departure date to ensure that they don’t end up going to Orlando and not get to enjoy their various theme parks. That would be awful, wouldn’t it?

Do Scrappers Read First?

I am sure many of us bloggers using WordPress are faced with the menace of splogs or scrapper blogs. However, have you tried writing a post with the relevant titles but different content and see if they pick up your post?

For this blog, I get a lot of ping backs for my travel posts and whatever posts on Yahoo! Yes, these people have splogs for anything under the sun. I know that they have AdSense all over the splogs (I never bothered to visit), but how much can that bring them? I know of some bloggers who run legitimate blogs who took more than two years to draw their first AdSense cheque.

Ah… I think that these sploggers may earn more because they are very targeted.

Anyway, with the speed of ping back just right after published a post, I am wondering it they have my feed or something. However, it has been proven that if you write a post that bangs them, they won’t publish THAT on their SPLOGS! Hah!
