Decorating With Teak Wood Furniture

A friend of mine sent me photos of his new home. Can I say that I am more than envious of his beautiful home? He has decorated it so well inside out that the home exudes real warmth even to guests.

My friend told me that he decided on teak garden furniture because they are durable and surprisingly affordable. Teak furniture comes in so many different designs that they could fit in so well with his landscape. According to my friend, he has already received compliments from visitors to his house on the furniture and many of them decided that they should get teak tables and teak benches for their garden too!

I went to the website of TeakWoodPatioFurniture.com for a look even though I have no plans to purchase any teak furniture and true enough, they come so many intricate designs to suit any taste.

Come to think of it, I have sure for some teak benches in my garden too. They would be great for those evenings that we would like to rest and relax in the garden and get some fresh air!

Tagging Songs On HD Radio

My sister and I are both radio enthusiast. You would be surprised to find girls of our age listening to shortwave radio or tinkering with ham sets. Well those were the days when we have time on our hands to go searching on the airwaves! Now, we are lucky if we do get to LISTEN to the radio. Friends tell me that I can always get the same thing with internet radio but it’s never the same. They just won’t understand, I guess!

My sister, who lives in the United States, told me that there’s something called high definition radio which has crystal clear broadcast of over hundreds of FM and AM radio stations which are free to tune in to, as long as we have a HD radio receiver like the Polk i-Sonic ES2.

While normal radios do not have that many radio stations and are not that clear in receiving radio broadcasts, a main difference between these radios and HD radio receivers is the ability for iTunes Tagging.

This means that when a song is played, the name of the artist and song will flash on the screen of the radio. We can then tag it so that we can purchase and download it from iTunes.

This is a particularly interesting feature because no longer do I have to search on the internet every time I like a song that is being played on air because the new breed of DJs no longer mention the song title or artists with their six-in-a-row song playing format. Moreover, I’ve just got myself an iPhone and dying to fill it up with music!

Need a Decision On My Passion Blogs

If you know me, you will know that a have a few passion blogs. Well, they are hosted on Blogger. I have been thinking that since I am “so free” (/sarcasm) lately, I would like to move the blogs to my own hosted blogs. I even solicited free hosting from friends. All I need now is to come up with good domain names that reflect the kind of blogs that I have.

But then I wonder if I would be able to go through the whole process over again with starting a new blog from buying a domain, installing WordPress, looking for a suitable theme, customizing it, filing up the blog with great content and building traffic and readership.

At first, I thought of moving my existing content to my new domain but wonder if that would cause me to have duplicated content. Even if I deleted that blog, my pages would still be in the cache of search engines. So how??

Haihhh so many decisions to make!

Hah… this is a local joke that non-Malaysians probably would not understand. Suddenly I feel like writing in Malay. It has been just a long time since I used it’s rusty already. Anyway, really I.C. the way P-Rs of blogs continue to fall even today. What round is it now? Is it sixth since early October?

It’s kinda ironic that in the beginning of the year, everyone could not wait getting a little green on their toolbar and now that there’s a little movement but with negative impact! Eeekkk!!!

Real Rank is great in an ideal world but then when you are competing for opps against other bloggers who are gaming the system, you will eventually be left with nothing.

So if you are thinking of starting a blog now, I think you are better of getting a real job than blogging! The good times are over!
