New Age Online Store

I am so free lately that a friend suggested that I start an online business. I don’t have an idea what to see and was told to check out a few online stores for inspiration. One of the sites that I was told of is a new age website called The Spiritual Dimension.

I think it’s interesting that they sell items that are said to be spiritual and help us to seek enlightenment. The Spiritual Dimension carries a wide range of spiritual items like cherub decorations, deities and other decorative items like Suncatchers.

I noticed that they are selling these items at reasonable prices and I think that they make great gift items as well. These are pretty popular items especially among people with New Age believes.

Exclusivity

Just when I thought that I am making good progress with Double N, despite the glitch of a couple of days ago with A, I and all publishers of Double N received the news that they are rolling our exclusive membership for people who will only publish advertisements through this local company only, and not through any other advertisement brokers from South East Asia. Can I say poor baby Nuff?

I wonder how many people will go exclusive. I know that A also had plans to go exclusive before the debacle but now, they have to put it on hold unless they can come up with a deal that is almost impossible to pass up and see through with it.

I know that a lot of publishers are mad but do we really want to restrict ourselves of future opportunities. Yes, we may be paid higher or have a higher chance of winning in contests but if you don’t carry balls now, you also won’t carry balls even if you are exclusive and that would also mean that you will be at the bottom rung of the 100% of the exclusive publishers. Won’t that amount to the same thing?

Right now, being exclusive may mean that we are excluding three other companies only but we never know. Perhaps a better one will come along soon? I have already implemented new Double N ad codes on my blogs so I hope it will somewhat compensate what I will be losing from opting out of the exclusive programme.

I believe that many of us have a first aid kit at home. This is very important especially if we have young children or older people in the family. If you do not have, then may I suggest that you start equipping your home with one?

Loving The New Akismet

Have you upgraded your Akismet plug-in? Well, I did recently just before I upgraded my WordPress and then changed to a new WordPress theme and I tell you, I am simply loving it.

For one, I no longer have to go though the few hundred spam comments anymore but just check out those direct comments. Who cares about the spam pings and track backs, right?

If you have not been seeing your comments on my blogs, it is because I do not have the time to sieve through them one by one until I get cross-eyed but now with the new Akismet, I will be taking the trouble to go though them. After all, for direct comments that are trapped by Akismet, there will not be that many.

Once again, I welcome your comments and you can be sure that you will see them published on my blogs again and not get deleted!

Malaysia Boleh on Technorati!

Did you notice two Malaysians on Technorati lately? Well, can’t say Malaysia TAK boleh, kan? There’s Chua Soi Lek, Chua Soi Lek Sex Video, Chua Soi Lek Sex Scandal, Chua Soi Lek DVD and many other variations and of course Advertlets. They even claimed the top spot for a few days.

Did you know that people from around the world are looking for the Chua Soi Lek Sex DVD. Aiya, I tell you, even if we have it, we would not be sharing it on our blogs lah. Wouldn’t that be madness now that the police are hot on the heels of the DVD distributors, sellers, owners and even “watchers”?

I find it very amusing that they don’t catch the PRODUCERS or the ACTORS but catch people who may have received them for free. From what I understand from newspapers, people were distributing them freely and stuffing them into the mailbox of homes and shops.

Ah… if anyone is caught with the DVD even though they were forced into their cars or homes, then bad luck loh… and good luck to you for possessing “obscene material”!

Beauty Jobs For You

Do you have faith that you will be able to look for that ideal job on an online job board? Speaking from experience and those of my friends, I would say that we have a better chance of finding it online that submitting applications the conventional way. At least, it saves us lots of time and we don’t even have to go knocking from door to door.

This morning, I was told of an online job board that has plenty of beauty jobs to pick and choose. This is because the board was set up by a beauty school for people in the beauty industry.

If you have are in the beauty business or own a beauty salon, for example, then you can offer jobs on this board for free. This is also the perfect place for people looking for beauty jobs. Of course, they would have to be skilled and professionally trained because beauty jobs are also as competitive as any other jobs!
