ALGOCO Is Dead, OK?

Sometimes people do things that make you wonder if they ever read. I recently stumbled upon a blog where the blogger said that he signed up with ALGOCO after reading a post on another blog talking about ALGOCO and how we were supposed to be able to make a little or a lot of income, depending on our down line, just by surfing the internet like we normally do.

Well, the concept is great and it would be excellent if all of us could make decent pocket money by staying at home just surfing the internet but life is not so straight-forward most times.

The point is, the post was about how ALGOCO has closed shop but once this guy read that ALGOCO could have earned us money, he signed up! The wonder doesn’t end there. I have to ask why the sign up form was still around on the ALGOCO website that there are people like this blogger could go and sign up with the program.

The people I pity are those who spent half a lifetime trying to recruit as many down line members as possible. Hah… to say that they were taken for a ride is an understatement.

Investing In Stock Options

Recently, I thought of dabbling in stocks but my friend warned me that I should be careful. He said that stock options trading is not child’s play but a money game that I may not be up to playing because I don’t have enough ammunition.

I know, but I am sure that we all have to start somewhere, right? The good thing about stock options trading is that we can invest whatever amount that we are comfortable with and there is not need to invest with all our life savings.

I also believe that in stock options trading, although there is risk involved, as long as we are prudent and do not invest with our heart but with our head, after going through data reports and analysis, we would do fine.

You may think that I have a shallow mindset but I know that most people lost money in investments or gambling because they are too emotional and that affects their mind and decision.

Of course, investments require time to master. I hope that later when I have the time to really study this, I would be able to make a profit.

Somebody’s Got Her PR Back II

The other day, I got to know of a blogger friend who received her P***R*** after a few weeks after she cleaned up her blogs and submitted them for reconsideration. Well, she managed to get them all back, good for her. She also swore never to sell links anymore and from what I understand, installed a plug-in and nofollow-ed ALL links.

I think that is too much already. Why can’t we link as and when we like, like a normal blogger? I have a blog that is not monetized at all and yet I still link however and whenever I like but anyway, I digress…..

Last night, I got to know of another of my blogger friend who managed to get a her THREE back. Now, the thing is, she has continued to sell links and even have ’em posts back to back. Where is the logic?

A mutual blogger friend told me that this G stands for GOD so I asked if this “PR-THREE” blogger prayed to Him. Hah…

Nexus Radio: Free Internet Radio

Since owning an Apple iPhone, I have been trying to fill it up with music. Normally, that would not be a problem at all but recently, we have been warned that we will be fined MYR250,000 should we be caught downloading intellectual material like music, movies and software illegally, So out went my peer-to-peer programs.

I tried searching for free music on the internet and although there are such websites available, the “free” music offered are usually of some really obscure musicians and I don’t really want those!

This morning, I got to know of Nexus Radio, a free internet radio where we only have to download a software, install it, and start scanning the more than seven thousand radio stations spanning 38 different genres of music.

I have to say, this idea is nothing new. However, Nexus Radio is more advanced as we are able to download whatever broadcasts and tracks, automatically named and tagged, for playback later or to copy them to our music devices for music on the go. The only requirement is that your device has t support mp3 format.

If you love music as much as I do and believe that we should not be paying for music then do yourself a favour and check out Nexus Radio.

50% Off!

Monday is the day a local blog advertising company disburse payment for the previous week. So, yesterday as usual, I received my share but the problem is that I was only paid 50% of what I should get pre-glitter club days.

What is so pissy is that the club only came into effect yesterday and they already started docking our pay for the previous week BEFORE the club was officially in place.

To say that I am pissed is an understatement. I had thought that I would be able to cash out my money within the first quarter of the year but then because I refused to join their so-called exclusive club I am penalised for that.

HHmm I still refused to butter up to some people, though!

Lowdown On The Best Online Casinos

The other day, I wrote a post questioning if there is an ultimate online casino. I am sure there is, just that we have not discovered it yet.

I am sure that if you are like me, you would not have the time to visit every online casino site to read their terms and conditions, check their bonus structure and play a game or two to see if their graphics are up to standard. What I do is to read about all the major online casinos from a single source. That way, I get to compare their benefits with the guidance of professional online casino reviewers.

Gamblux.com is just such an online casino review site that strives to bring us all the happening online casino news and reviews in one single portal. If you need to know the about leading online casinos, Gamblux.com is the site to consult. Which online casino offers you the highest sign-up bonus? That, you will have to find out from Gamblux.com too!

At first glance, you may think that Gamblux.com is overloaded with information but it is actually a very user-friendly site and navigation is a breeze. Not only will you get a professional guide on the top online casinos of the moment, if you are new to online casinos, then Gamblux.com has a comprehensive page of online casino rules and strategies which you should check out.

What’s Up With Yahoo! Messenger’s “Hey Sexy!” Messages?

I don’t know what is wrong with my Yahoo! Messenger that I am getting “Hey Sexy” messages, with audio, a few times a day! I know that the number of times I am getting this is not an indication of anything out of the ordinary, just that my computer is connected to the internet almost the whole day (and night).

Are others getting this weird message from persons (or bots) unknown or is my Yahoo! Messenger bugged? I remember not too long a go, one of my Yahoo! Messenger contacts sent me a link asking me to check out his holiday photos and I did click on it because I really thought that it was his online holiday photo album.

A few months after that, I met him and told him that I can’t open his “holiday album” and he was blur, “What album??”

Uh-uh… I went home and changed the password of my Yahoo! account. Perhaps it is already too late. I don’t know if it was because of this that my Yahoo! Messenger is now acting weird. Any idea?

Oh yeah, come to think of it, sometimes it is not “Hey sexy” with a weird smilie icon but in a foreign language which I suspect is Hindi or something.

Somebody please tell me that it is not that my Yahoo! account has been compromised that I am getting these messages but that the problem lies with a loophole with Yahoo! in general!

Geee… isn’t it creepy?
