My Naked Device II

It has been almost two months that I have been using my Apple iPhone and it is still naked! I can’t seem to find a proper “condom” for it. Well, there is no surprise, actually. I have used my Nokia E61i since June, 2007 and I still could not find a proper full body protection for it.

I blame it on living in backwater Ipoh! I can’t seem to find anything trendy here without buying them online. However, for something like protection for my devices, I prefer to be able to test them first to see if they are actually adding inches to my devices and make them bulky or if they actually offer it protection from scratches or drops.

HHmm I surfed to so many sites that offer cases for the iPhone and I must say some of them are really fancy but they come with an equally fancy price tag as well! I don’t mind winning a case, though!

Boost Your WAN Performance

Recently, I was discussing with a friend how one of the websites that we frequent has been suffering from server bandwidth [mis]management. I bet that they are losing business due to that from frustrated site visitors. This is one of the reasons why multi-wan Internet load balancing is so important, especially to an internet company.

Now, if your network is also suffering from something similar, why not boost your performance with The EDGE platform that is being offered by XRoads Networks? This company says that by using The EDGE, a platform that aggregates the different broadband connectivity up to a maximum of six providers, giving you 99.99% uptime and faster speed without the extra cost.

It’s Great To PiNG Again!

It’s been a long time since I ping-ed the local blog aggregator. That’s because I was so busy with blogging that I forgot to Ping. Naturally, my traffic suffered and I was not happy with that. Now that my blogging has actually slowed down, though looking at my blog, you can’t really tell, I can take a little breather and Ping whatever services instead of rushing to another post.

Well there are good and there are bad sides to everything, of course.

Did you know that yesterday, I actually remembered to Ping Petaling Street for all my blogs? Heh… I love seeing the traffic come in even though I may not benefit from them al that much but it’s great to see the statistics.

I hope I will continue to remember to Ping. It’s hard to remember after such a long time not doing it!

Fast Approval Business Financing

A week ago, I wrote a post on two of my friends who decided to venture into business. They have been stay at home moms who recently found financial independence through blogging. Now, with an egg for PR, they decided to invest their savings from blogging into business. They said there is no more future in blogging. Well, everything is possible in America!

I always believe that the first step is the hardest step to take but once we have braved ourselves to take it, the rest of the journey will be smoother.

I read that EZUnsecured.com also provides business financing to new business start ups. This would be the perfect kind of financing for these two friends who will be starting up a new business.

O browsed through the website of http://www.EZUnsecured.com and they are really fast in approving qualified loans. It takes just up to three days for an approval and up to three weeks for the funds to reach your hands.

What I like about the service offered by EZUnsecured.com is that they do not charge upfront fees or introductory fees until a loan is approved and accepted unlike other companies!

ALGOCO Is Dead, OK?

Sometimes people do things that make you wonder if they ever read. I recently stumbled upon a blog where the blogger said that he signed up with ALGOCO after reading a post on another blog talking about ALGOCO and how we were supposed to be able to make a little or a lot of income, depending on our down line, just by surfing the internet like we normally do.

Well, the concept is great and it would be excellent if all of us could make decent pocket money by staying at home just surfing the internet but life is not so straight-forward most times.

The point is, the post was about how ALGOCO has closed shop but once this guy read that ALGOCO could have earned us money, he signed up! The wonder doesn’t end there. I have to ask why the sign up form was still around on the ALGOCO website that there are people like this blogger could go and sign up with the program.

The people I pity are those who spent half a lifetime trying to recruit as many down line members as possible. Hah… to say that they were taken for a ride is an understatement.

Investing In Stock Options

Recently, I thought of dabbling in stocks but my friend warned me that I should be careful. He said that stock options trading is not child’s play but a money game that I may not be up to playing because I don’t have enough ammunition.

I know, but I am sure that we all have to start somewhere, right? The good thing about stock options trading is that we can invest whatever amount that we are comfortable with and there is not need to invest with all our life savings.

I also believe that in stock options trading, although there is risk involved, as long as we are prudent and do not invest with our heart but with our head, after going through data reports and analysis, we would do fine.

You may think that I have a shallow mindset but I know that most people lost money in investments or gambling because they are too emotional and that affects their mind and decision.

Of course, investments require time to master. I hope that later when I have the time to really study this, I would be able to make a profit.

Somebody’s Got Her PR Back II

The other day, I got to know of a blogger friend who received her P***R*** after a few weeks after she cleaned up her blogs and submitted them for reconsideration. Well, she managed to get them all back, good for her. She also swore never to sell links anymore and from what I understand, installed a plug-in and nofollow-ed ALL links.

I think that is too much already. Why can’t we link as and when we like, like a normal blogger? I have a blog that is not monetized at all and yet I still link however and whenever I like but anyway, I digress…..

Last night, I got to know of another of my blogger friend who managed to get a her THREE back. Now, the thing is, she has continued to sell links and even have ’em posts back to back. Where is the logic?

A mutual blogger friend told me that this G stands for GOD so I asked if this “PR-THREE” blogger prayed to Him. Hah…
