Expand Your Options

Finding it difficult to make some pocket money from blog reviews? Then you probably need to expand your options. If you have read about my post on iHype.com a couple of months back, then you should be glad to know of iHype.com Launch.

I am registered with them and have two approved blogs but so far, have not made any money through them. However, I still let a couple of friends know about iHype.com and they signed up too.

Recently, iHype.com received from negative hype in the blogosphere, for what reason I do not know. My main concern is that they hand out work to us and pay us accordingly. Things are pretty quiet in there right now and strangely, their link redirects us to the website of an energy drink.

Anyway, since I never believe in putting all my eggs in one basket, a new blog review marketplace is always welcomed. While things may be slow right now and though I am unable to reach them via their contact form, I trust that things will soon pick up once they are over their teething problems. Most startup companies will go through the same.

So when business picks up, my friends and I will be ready to work with iHype.com!

I once told a friend that if she would like her gift to stand out among a pile of gifts, she would have to personalize it. It does not matter if the gift is not as expensive as another but the important thing is that thought has been put in the gift. I know that I would appreciate a personalized gift more and in fact, will cherish it more.

This morning, I had the chance to check out an outstanding idea of giving photo pillows. I remember going through their range of personalized gifts before but these custom pillows will really make ones gift stand out.

The Blackberry is a very popular device here but I am not sure if people are using it to its full potential. If you are one of the lucky people who owns a Blackberry then perhaps you should check out the free drug guide for blackberry from Epocrates.

Although I do not deal with drugs, I still find it interesting that I could have drug information, side effects, drug reaction between two or more drugs, dosage, etc. at my fingertips. If this is in your line of work then all the more you should grab a copy for your Blackberry.

FireFox 2.0

The other day, I upgraded my Firefox to the latest version 3 on my desktop computer upon the urging of my friend who ground the latest Firefox to be “fantastic” and working perfectly. I told him to try out the add-ons that I use to see if they worked on the new Firefox. He reported back that they worked great and that I have nothing to worry about.

So I upgraded my Firefox too but after intensive use of the plug ins that I MUST have running each second I am connected to the internet and I am connected each second my computer is turned on, I found that the plug ins do not work as well as my friend has reported that do.

I was a little pissed off when I found out because it caused me error in my work but there was nothing I could do on short notice. However, now that I know about the problem, I decided not to downgrade my FireFox on my desktop. However, neither do I have plans to upgrade my Firefox on my notebook.

Star Wars Clone Wars Toy Launch

Did you know that there will be a Star Wars toy launch on 25th July, 2008 at 10pm at Mutiara Damansara? The event is called ‘Star Wars Clone Wars Toy Launch’ and all Star Wars fans and Batman fans are welcomed. Why Batman? I don’t know but I guess Superman fans could turn up as well, if they want to.

Midwest Auto Recycling

I may not be familiar with cars since I do not own one. However, I was told that there is a company called midwest auto recycling that deals with use car engines and transmission that come with solid nationwide warranty.

Over here, I know that most companies do not provide any warranty at all for used articles but not Midwest Auto Recycling. On top of the warranty, their used car engines and transmissions have already cleaned and tested, inspected and then only approved to be sold.

According to sources, these used car engines are in a complete assembly and are ready for installation. This sounds like a hassle-free purchase to me. If you have tried Midwest Auto Recycling before, I would like to hear of your experience!

Earning From Widget Bucks For Western European Traffic

Months ago, I was complaining that my Widget Bucks widget has gone missing from my blog. At least, accessing my blog from Malaysia, I could not see the widget. Anyway, I later discovered that the supposedly Widget Bucks widget has turned into an eBay affiliate button with I don’t know whose referral ID. So since I was not earning even a little from that, I removed the widgets from all my blogs.

A little while ago, I received an email update from Widget Bucks saying that they are now paying for Western European traffic. HHmm isn’t that strange?

So, here is a list of countries where you will get to earn from your traffic. I don’t know if it is worth it for you but for me, I would rather have a global widget on my blog.
