Yesterday was my aunt’s first wedding anniversary to her second husband. Every time I look at her, I recall how she suffered from the beatings of her first husband. I am glad that she escaped from him. I later learned that the man hit his new companion too. There is seriously something wrong with him but my aunt told me that each time she brought up the subject of him seeking help to control his anger, she got beaten up worse.

I am quite embarrassed that at my age, I have never been employed for even one day before and I have never written a resume before. However, the other day, my friend saw a job vacancy ad the website of a recruitment agency and urged me to apply for the job as he thinks that I am a good fit. He even helped me polish my application and resume.

Now that I already have my resume written, I think that I should submit it to as many prospective employers as possible. It would be naive of me to think that I would be successful in my first ever job application therefore I have been checking out recruitment websites almost daily.

If I was desperate for employment, I can certainly understand the stress one faces searching for a job. Luckily for me, I am looking for employment because I would like new challenges. It would definitely is a big step forward to me to be employed, proving some people wrong that I am highly unemployable!
