Pity The Sponsors

You know, with the new Terms of Service of a certain marketplace where we nearly have to publish an organic post between all sponsored posts across the blog, I feel that the one losing party is the Sponsors.

As far as I know, active blog for pay bloggers would write multiple sponsored posts every day and if they have to have an organic post between every single sponsored post, then before half the day is over, those sponsored posts would have dropped off the front page. The post would not even benefit from the Page Rank of the blog.

This morning, I wrote a total of ten posts on my other blog, a mixture of sponsored and unsponsored content and I am only a mid-range blogger. Plus, I set my Blogspot blog to show seven days’ worth of posts on the front page, but still not all the posts managed to benefit from the landing spot.

I know of some other bloggers who literally crank out tens of posts every day and the earlier posts would have gone to the second or even third page, depending on the layout of the blog.

Luckily, even though I have set to show seven posts on the front page for this blog, this is a blog that does not overdose on sponsored posts.

Adult Chat?

I was pointed to a forum that apparently had a section for adult chat. I could not see it, though. Perhaps it is only available for premium members since there is a section that locks out the rest of us. Now that I am here though, I am wondering if their meaning of “adult chat” is the same as mine! That is why I am rather confused because I cannot see any sexy male-female chat at all. Well, that is my definition hah!

Now, you would probably think lowly of me for seeking out adult chats! I assure you, there is absolutely nothing wrong with engaging in adult chats, that is, if you ARE an adult and yes, I am one the last time I checked.

Anyway, as someone who practically spends the whole day at the computer working, I would like to be kept on the ball on what’s hot and what’s not on the internet. I read, I surf, I browse and bookmark plenty of sites that I check as often as I could, I blog hop, participate in forums and chat, in adult rooms or otherwise, and friends will email me sites that they have discovered that may be of interest to me.

And I blog about almost anything and everything that I come across online. My friends will sometimes put a note, “Hey, this makes great blog fodder!” and we would all write about it. And yes, I have to admit that I engage in adult chats due to my curious mind and my love for analyzing things and then blog about them and these people who may have chatted with me will never know that I am writing about my experience with them! hahaha!

Well, since I was told that this particular site has a section for adult chat, I think I may upgrade my membership to Premium membership, if only just to quell my curiosity!

CrispAds & BlogWorld

I received an email from CrispAds this morning about giving away 300 coupon codes worth $25 each for BlogWorld and a contest where two lucky AMERICAN bloggers will get to win free trips to Las Vegas.

I was registered with CrispAds ages ago. I must have, or they would not have my email address on their mailing list. Off hand, without checking my little black book, I could not log into my CrispAds account. See, that must have been so long ago.

Anyway, I don’t even know how to use CrispAds on my blog and I have not heard of any local blogger who has found success with it but still I signed up when I was searching for more ways to monetize my blog months ago. I can’t be writing sponsored posts forever, right?

I think I need to put more effort to learn how CrispAds works and how that I could somehow implement them on my blogs. HHmm I don’t even remember if my blogs are in the system already and approved! Confirmed there goes my memory!

Solar The Alternative Energy Source

My friend is building his house and I asked him if he is going to power it with Solar energy. He said no because solar energy system is not that advanced in the country and that it will cost more in the long run to replace the solar panels after every five years or so. Well, I did not know that but he is an engineer and he should know about these things.

However, I have been thinking that should I have my own house, I would implement solar energy at least in some parts of the house. Sometime back, I read an article that there is a residential area somewhere in the United States where the all the houses are powered by Solar energy. I know that they will have immediate savings on their electricity bill. As we all know, power has been getting more and more expensive and over here, we have two tiers of rates to contend with!

I would definitely love to get Solar water heating and lighting in some parts of the house and also the garden. I find that these are the places that we could save some electricity on. I trust that by the time I am able to afford my own house, solar energy would be more advanced and widely used in the country that it will not be too costly to implement.

Blogging On The Get Go

Some of my friends could really blog so many posts a day, every day, I wonder where they could find so many topics to talk about. However, although I also can blog that much, I do not see the point in blogging short posts and then continuing the second part on a subsequent post.

To me, I like my posts to be a little story that has a beginning and an ending, even if it is extremely long. That’s why I end up with at least 150 words. I see no point in having 50 word posts scattered all over the blog without a real topic discussed.

Although I am quite the perfectionist, I find that lately, I have been having too many grammatical errors that I can only see the following day it was published. I don’t know why. This is perhaps what I can expect for blogging half asleep! And by them people would have already read my typo, grammar and all those little mistakes in all their glory *sigh*

Looking For A Secure Online Betting Portal?

This morning, I was introduced to an online casino called Bet365. I was amazed at the different types of sports and games that we could bet on. I think they have everything there from lotto to casino games to sports like golf, tennis, volleyball and soccer. They even have darts and snooker! These are only a handful, by the way. You will have to check the site and I bet (pun intended) that if you are a gambler, you could find just the game that you usually bet on!

I personally think that this site has made online betting all the more exciting thanks to their live streaming. No longer do we have to sit around and wait for the results if we do not have cable TV, we could now WATCH the game in progress.

If you have been searching for a secure online betting website with Sportsbook facility, perhaps your search ends here!

All Those Greeting Cards!

A month or so ago, I was wondering why I was receiving all those e-cards from sources unknown and they were purportedly from my neighbors, colleagues, sisters, employees and even worshippers. I mean, HAHAHAHAHA aren’t these ridiculous?

Anyway, I never open them and thankfully so!

Last night, I came across a forum thread that says that these are virus that would cause harm to the computer.

And then a couple of weeks ago, I also received confirmation email from certain websites that thank me for registering with them and the email asked me to complete my registration with the temporary login ID and password. Thankfully again, I did not click on the link provided because again, I found out that they are also a certain virus.

So the rule of the thumb is to never click on any links that come in via email OR instant messengers. I get this all the time too! It is easy to not click on these that are from unknown people but when it is from someone you know, you may want to double check with the sender.
