Cisco Training and Certification

My friend, Jason, was telling me that it is so tough to look for a new job. I was a little surprised as he has a recognized degree, so what hope do I have?

Jason tells me that working in the IT industry is very tough as there are more and more new graduates yearly with new skills and fresh ideas. However, I feel that it is up to us to keep abreast with the industry and continue to get additional training with certification to show.

My friends who are making good progress in their IT careers say that it is imperative to get Cisco training and certified as Cisco certification is recognized worldwide and employers know not to doubt our knowledge in IT.

After going though the module of Cisco, I realized that although I am not an IT graduate, I find that I already know the basics of networking from managing the network of computers in my own home office. I think that I should get myself proper Cisco training and Cisco certified too should I need to go out and work and a career in IT is certainly promising!

The most suitable certification for me would be entry level Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENTâ„¢) Certification as there are no prerequisites required. Once I have that, I could continue with a higher level of certification. Although I work for myself and really do not need to get certified, it surely boosts my self-esteem to have my IT skills recognized. And like I said, it would be great to have something to fall back on should I need to join the workforce.
