I am not sure if you noticed, but Google has already started to dance. I have seen ranks assigned to my new blogs but there has been no change yet for my old blogs. I hope that this dancing is accurate and not give me false hopes like the previous update! I am still SORE! Buahaha!

Last week, Google visited my new blog and now I see this! Just check out what Google has given me for this blog. A THREE! Woohoooooo! I hope IT WILL really be THREE (or more?) when Google has settled down!

I remember writing the post Aiming For A Google Page Rank 3 back in early February this year. Was it three months already? Wow, time sure flies. But this is definitely good news. The previous ranking was long delayed. At least this time, it was only a three-month wait!

I am sure you already know that I am writing for pay. Well, I have been at this for six months already and I have experienced both the sweet and sour of it. I do love writing paid posts, aside from the compensation, I am exposed to so many more websites and services that I would never have discovered on my own. Many of my advertisers are now sites that I visit regularly.

Since my first foray into blogging for pay, I have been keeping my eyes and ears peeled for new blogging marketplaces. The latest which I have joined is Bloggerwave. I don’t know about you, but I search a lot daily but since joining Slash My Search, I have removed Google Search from my Bookmark to replace it with Slash My Search so that I will get paid for every search I perform. Although the payout is low, it is better than my AdSense.

What I really use Slash My Search for is to search for eBay typos. This is the only way to find bargains on eBay. You may be surprised that a small typo can make a huge difference in the traffic. Did you know that Blogitive has finally enforced the new requirement of having TWO minimum 50-word NON-PAID posts between two of Blogitive’s offer?

To me, it does not matter if the required interim post is a minimum of 50 or 100 words, it is still ONE idea used. There for, to have two interim posts means two ideas used, even if they are only a short 50-word post. By the way, I don’t remember writing an original post that is shorter than a hundred words. As far as I know, all my original posts are at least a hundred words, with some running up to 400 – 500 words.

I was telling a friend that I am finding it increasingly difficult to write sponsored posts because of all the new requirements from the various paid to blog platforms. It is more so when Blogitive may not have offers for a whole week and then when they do have offers, they come in droves. As the saying goes, “When it rains, it pours.”

So I am finding it stressful to meet these requirements AND also maintain the quality of my interim posts. Like I mentioned before, my blog may be interspersed with sponsored posts but I am not going to compromise on the quality of my blog, whether the posts are original posts or sponsored. I strive to publish well-written articles every time.

Well, I guess I just have to play the game by its rules or I will be booted out.
