No 3G, No Holiday

My friend was telling me that I should go for a holiday and he suggested Cameron Highlands, AGAIN! I told him no, I don’t want Cameron Highlands because there’s no 3G signal there!!

He laughed and said that I am supposed to go on a holiday so why would I need 3G for? Eh, I still need to work even when I am physically away from my workstation, you know?

A week ago, my friend was on vacation in Langkawi and she told me that her chalet does not have 3G signal and she was so frustrated she nearly threw her laptop and mobile device out to sea. LOL I certainly could do without that kind of frustration!

If I were to go on holiday, I am going to make sure that the area has a decent 3G signal that would enable me to get online at a reasonable cost, if I had to pay for it!!

I received quite a few emails from this website, Lost Contact, urging me to join the site. Ermm… excuse me, where did they get my email address to spam me? Oh I get it. It’s from Free Job Site, when a friend of mine, who wanted to participate in a contest, provided them with my email address. I really hate it when websites misuse their list of email addresses. Yes, they may have stated that they are at liberty to do such and such a thing but then that is really bad form.

After receiving such email in my account and also in the email addresses of other family members, which I don’t know how they got those, I decided to check the site out.

This is actually like a friendship lost-n-found site. Well, unfortunately, I am not going to register myself with them because I don’t want to be found. I am the kind of person who would pretend not to recognize someone if I don’t want to keep in touch with him or her. Bad, huh? Did they think that I would join? LOL

Can’t Sleep With IMAP

I wonder how many people who are using IMAP can get a good night’s sleep without being interrupted by their email alert. I have been hankering for IMAP for such a long time now and a few months ago, when Gmail starts supporting IMAP, I was so happy.

Now, I am telling friends not to send me frivolous things in the middle of the night!!! Forwarded jokes and mass mail in mailing lists should be sent to another email address of mine and only urgent personal email are to be send to one particular personal Gmail address.

Of course, I could shut off my phone when I am sleeping but then that would defeat the purpose of having IMAP on my mobile device, right? I have mail that I would like to be alerted to at once even when I am sleeping and I am thankful that I have IMAP to do that for me!

Porn iPhone Wallpaper

The other day, I was so amused to discover that there were people looking for porn iPhone wallpaper and came to my blog via search. I find it funny because I don’t remember mentioning porn on my blog but I did mention iPhone more times than I could remember and also wallpaper in the same post.

So I was very tickled that there was someone who wanted porn on his iPhone. You know how dangerous that could be. Someone would just press the home button and see that porn wallpaper. There is no where to hide it at all and there is no way you can pretend that you don’t know how that wallpaper went there!

And all the more dangerous is because of the 3.5in screen that is SO clear. Tell me how can anyone even think of putting porn as their iPhone wallpaper? I do know that Playboy has made available some wallpapers but I won’t call them porn, just “adult”.

Last month, when my friend drove all the way from Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh to celebrate my birthday with me, I saw a pack of plaster in his bang and asked him what that was for. He said that he is a huge blister on his foot due to new footwear.

The other day, I watched the iPhone demo video for the second time and suddenly thought that I should check out the bulldog video on YouTube that knows how to skate. Boy, does he know how!

This video has been viewed more than 1.7 million times!!! Can you believe that? I wish that my video has been viewed by ten percent of these people!! This is a must-watch video if you love animals, especially dogs.

I am sure the owner must be loving him so much. I can’t help but wonder why can’t my dog be this smart??? Yerrrrrrrr he is just TOO CUTE!!!!
