Happy New Year, Happy 1st Anniversary!!!!!

Wow… it’s New Year’s Eve today and I can’t believe that my blog will turn a year old tomorrow on New Year’s Day. Where has all the time gone??? I don’t know how many posts I have written on this blog but there are more than a thousand posts published.

If there’s one thing I regret about this blog it is that I would have started a domain instead of a sub-domain. Other than that, I have no regrets. I would have changed to a domain blog right now if not for all the hassle so I will have to keep it as it is.

I have been blog hopping lately and many bloggers have a post on they blogging plans for 2008. Well, what about mine? I most probably will move a couple of my passion blogs to their own domains. I have left them idle for one whole year and I think it is high time I revive them. They are niche blogs that I have a passion for.

I most probably will have more time on my hands beginning 2008 so ya, I’ll be devoting a little time on my passion blogs. I may even start a new website on iPhone. I know, I AM CRAZY!!!

Lost In A Sea of Spam Comments

I have been so very lazy to go through my Spam comment folder anymore. I give up to these spammers and don’t even care now if legitimate comments have mistakenly be caught by Akismet.

I used to worry that my readers will misunderstand and wonder why I purposely do not approve their comments for publishing. Well, let’s just say that I am tired of spammers so much so that I no longer worry about not being able to publish real comments. I know that is happening because don’t get too many comments lately, compared to the time when I still had the energy to flip through pages and pages of spam.

I heard that if someone leaves too many comments on blogs, they will be marked as Spam even if they are legit. Also, this feature that is said to de-spam “spam” comments do not work at all. I tried it a few times and soon gave up.

Somebody’s Got Her P-R- Back!!!

I’ve got news yesterday that a fellow blogger has her P-R- reinstated for three blogs. That is absolutely great news and a perfect ending of the year for her. It has been tough for all of us to struggle with fake ranks but there is no choice but to persevere.

I know that this lady has been working extra hard all along by building blog after blog specifically for links and therefore, she could afford to be a good girl, delete all links from her blogs and seek reconsideration. She did what we could not afford to do because she has the traffic to anchor these three main blogs of hers.

Of course, even without having to sell L—-, she would still be able to create different revenue streams from her now PR-four blogs. The best of luck to her and may the rest of us be given a little respite as well!

Planning A Wedding Online

The other day, I was at my friend’s home and I was that she has a notebook which she has created lists like wedding guests, Wedding Gifts, bridesmaid, maids of honor, groomsmen and lots more lists. Well, what she was trying to do was to plan her wedding which is sometimes around Valentine’s Day next year.

I told her that she could easily do all this from an online wedding planning site called Wedding Channel and she and her husband-to-be could share the account so that they can both log in to plan and manage the wedding at different times whenever one of them is free. Doing it in a book is not exactly a bad idea but then she would not be able to share the task of building those lists.

Although I have not used those interactive wedding planning tools on the Wedding Channel because, I absolutely love the idea and believe that it takes away the stress and hassle of planning our own wedding!

Both my friend and I are small time stock players. Well, I am smaller than him because he is braver in speculating while I am a follower. I only buy stocks that come with professional recommendation while he analyzes the stocks himself. He is quite accurate, though, but he will only tell me AFTER he has sold his stocks. I was very mad and told him that he should let me know when he buys so that I could jump onto the same boat as well but he said that he does not want to because he doesn’t want to take responsibility of my loss, should it happen. Bah!!!

So what choice do I have but to depend on other people to pick my stocks for me? I read the papers, visit stocks websites and apply for all Initial Public Offerings (IPO).

This morning, I was told of this site at http://www.fastmoneystockpicks.com which is a daily updated website on the top stock picks according to CNBC’s Fast Money, a TV program on stock trading.

Although the stock market is very volatile and can move both ways overnight due to national and global events, I feel more secure investing my money after reading on recommendations of professionals. Buying, Sell, Hold, only three options but it is not an easy decision to make!

Now that I know of this website, Fast Money Stock Picks, I think that I would track the stocks against their recommendations and see how accurate each analyst is!
