Yahoo! I’m Gila!

Tell me I am not mad. I have decided to revive three of my old blogs, blogs that I abandoned about a year ago when I became too busy to update them. Yesterday, I had a little free time on my hands, after having finished 90% of my four new blogs and still have not found the inspiration to complete the other 10%.

This last part is the hardest to do because I would have to troubleshoot and find out why my Search function isn’t working, code in the EDIT link to my index.php and single.php and also build a page for category.php and archive.php. How can the theme creator miss out these two very important elements of a blog with good page structure, right?

All these may sound like peanuts to experienced CSS coders but for me, these are far harder to do than building a rocket. SIGH!!

After finished updating my eleven blogs, I decided to revive these three old ones. Aren’t I sot-sot-dei? And I still have not set up my iPhone wallpaper website!

Popular North Cyprus Properties

Wouldn’t it be awesome if one is rich enough to own a holiday home in another country? Can you imagine going on an annual vacation to your own home? I was told that North Cyprus property is very popular for people who are looking for property investment offshore whether as an investment for the future, for vacation rental or own annual holiday or even for retirement.

My cousin, Jasmine, who lives and works in London, to me that British people love North Cyprus and this is their top holiday destination. Perhaps it is due to the fact that there is no language barrier as English is widely spoken by the locals. Or it could be because of the beautiful beaches or for turtle-watching activities.

Jasmine said that that even she is dreaming of owning a property there and be part of the IN crowd!

Isn’t It Funny?

Last night, a friend told me to go to the blog of a rather prominent blogger to read a particular post. Well, since I was already there, I decided to read the first couple of pages of his blog.

Well, well, well, I discovered that in one of his posts, he mentioned something that I wrote about earlier. I guess he came to my blog and read my post but did not leave a comment but published a post on his own blog.

My point in my post was that a widget was missing from my blog. However, he twisted my words and said instead, that I whined for not getting payment from this particular internet marketing affiliate program, which is total bull shit.

Sure, I many not have cashed out even my first cheque but the point is, how can my widget get lost on my blog when it was there re first and now it isn’t? I didn’t even remove the codes that I have embedded. Isn’t that strange?

And isn’t it funny that some people for want of content, can whack another blogger by twisting her words? Yea… and he dares say that he’s God-fearing.

More Liquid In Our Diet

My friend told me that he bought a juicer for his aunt. He said that since his aunt was diagnosed with cancer not too long ago, she has been drinking plenty of juice. So far, they have been juicing manually and it could get tiring so my friend went to check out juicers and luckily they are not very expensive.

According to my friend, his aunt’s health improved since she had a diet change. I remember when my friend Boon was down with cancer also, he did a research on the internet on juicers and imported one. I wonder why he cannot find the juicers that he wanted locally.

Well, the Customs wanted to impose tax but because it was finally declared under “medical equipment”, he did not have to pay taxes. I don’t know if juicers are taxable or not but the Customs thought that it was for commercial use at first, due to its size.

Whether or not one is sick medically, it is always good to drink more juice and liquid. It helps to flush our system, I think.

Blog Setup Status: Completed

So I finally, completed the set up of my blogs last night. I was very happy but my eyes were crossed. Too bad. I have a list of blogs to update. I have so many things to talk about but I just can’t seem to find the time.

Even though my blogs are “nice” now when you just browse through casually, there are still things that are not working right, like the three that have their Search function broken as I mentioned earlier today. Another theme, on the other hand, does not have an Archive or Categories page. I know this could be set up but I have to figure out HOW to set the pages up first.

I guess I will only do so along with the Search function later when I have slightly more free time to tinker with the codes. You know how I am with CSS coding. It could take me easily one day and then some!

For the next couple of days, I would have to update my blogs. I’ve neglected them, once again. :(

Planning A Vacation Conveniently

Planning a vacation is so tedious. A friend asked me if I look forward to such planning but frankly, I would rather be the one to enjoy the trip without the hassle or cost planning! Can’t somebody just do everything for me while all I have to do is just pack my bags, hop on a plane and start enjoying my holiday? I guess if that is not possible, at least a website like TripTake.com makes it a whole lot easier to compare rates and hotel reviews and plan accordingly.

As an example, if you are looking for hotels in Rome, just go to TripTake.com and click on the thumbnail image of Rome. Did you know that Rome is one of the top holiday destinations in the world?

If you would rather look for a Venice hotel instead, just go to Italy hotels and at the very bottom of the page, at the footer, you can select the top destinations in Italy.

Searching for hotels in Florence Italy is also similarly simple. Just select from the links at the bottom of the page. A friend wanted to check out hotels in Milano Italy and that was what I told him to do.

You see, whether it is Milan, Rome, Florence, Venice or Palermo, you would be surprised to know that Italy has many top holiday destinations to offer. People who have not been to Italy before or find it difficult to research on an Italian trip because of language barrier will find it easy to do so here on TripTake.com due to its user-friendly interface.

With TripTake.com no matter what country you plan to holiday in, besides Italy, you can just narrow down your preferred hotel accommodation based on your budget, hotel class and guest rating. Make use of this feature so that you don’t have to waste time browsing accommodation listings that are not suitable for you at this time.

Search Function Broken

I have such a monster headache now. I know part of it is because I am being too ambitious to try to get different themes for my blogs. However, for three of my WordPress blogs that I am using themes from the same designer, I discovered that the search function is broken.

Sometimes, I can search something from the homepage but once I go into inner pages, the Search doesn’t seem to work at all. This is the same case with all three of my blogs. I wonder if it is a design fault since it’s too much of a coincidence to have this same problem for themes from the same designer.

So I went looking for other blogs that are using these themes and used the Search to test it out but they work fine. Then why is it only mine that are not working? I left a comment on the theme page and it has been almost a MONTH and my comment is still under moderation. I think I might as well give up!

Now I don’t even know if I should continue using these themes. I love them and spent a considerable amount of time customizing them and the only problem is the Search feature. How? Any suggestions?
