I was first introduced to house music back in early 1990s by a Dutch friend. This friend was a dancer in a House club and she would have access to all the House tracks which she will make copies of for me. That was how I got to know about House music and grown to appreciate it.

However, living in backwater Ipoh, you would be hard pressed to look for a House club. I was told that there is a handful in the capital city but I haven’t the chance to go there for years.

Last evening, I discovered a web portal where we could enjoy new house music mixes. Can you imagine, you can listen to house music and watch videos online for free without even having to go to a House club, which like I mentioned, is non-existent in Ipoh! So getting my does of House music online is the next best thing!

If you have been reading my blog from the beginning, you would know that I am an early adopter of EC. What’s EC? I am not going to write their full name but you can see that I still have their widget on my sidebar, where you, if you are also a member of this community, can drop you card. And thank you for doing so.

When I was an early member, traffic from EC was tremendous. Granted, I was pretty active as well, setting aside time every couple of days to drop cards on the blogs of other members. I also advertised on other blogs. Well, actually, I bought two advertorial spots on one blog to advertise two of my blogs, if you understand what I mean.

Lately, though, I haven’t got the time to drop cards and it indirectly affected the number of cards being dropped on my blog, because I have not been doing the rounds myself. This means that advertising on my blog has gone dirt cheap. Oh, well.

From checking my traffic statistics, I noticed that I do not even get five unique visitors to each of my blogs directly from the EC site. I do however, get a handful of visits from other blogs that have hosted the EC wall. But like I said, any unique visitor would be appreciated, except for the SPY!

My uncles and aunts are educators and they tell me that it is a thankless job. The hours are long and the pay is low. Besides, for teachers who are in charge of exam classes, the pressure they face s tremendous because they have been placed the heavy responsibility of ensuring that each and every student score.

No matter what, my uncles and aunts seem to enjoy their work. Perhaps it is very rewarding to see that the students under their wing have made it good and become somebody in life. Or perhaps it is because of the long school holidays where they still get their pay check.

In any case, teachers need the support to stay motivated. As a student, it was like my mission to make the days tough for my teachers. I guess with students like me, teachers need to come up with ways to change my awful attitude.

This website, http://TeacherLingo.com, is a website created for teachers. This community of teachers can use the features on the site for free, set up teacher blogs & lesson plans, share ideas and support each other in their very noble career of shaping the younger generation.

The most important aspect of this teacher community portal is that teachers get a chance to vent their frustrations and there will always be a sympathetic ear!

I mentioned that I wanted to start a website for people to download Apple iPhone wallpaper for free. Well, I even got a domain name for it and started a blog on a sub-domain. Unfortunately, I can hardly spare the time to set it up.

The first thing I always do when launching a new website or blog is to look for a good template. For an iPhone wallpaper download site, I would needs something like an online photo gallery where people would be able to browse through these wallpapers comfortably without too mc scrolling and clicking. I don’t even know where to look for such a template. I did spend a little time searching not too long ago but there was nothing that I like.

Whatever the case, it has been put on hold indefinitely. I just hope that it will not take me longer than a year to get started. You know I finally only managed to set up my personal website after one long yet? I’ve got a history for that! LOL
