So sad. Earlier today, I discovered that my server was down from 11am until 4.30pm. It could have been down earlier but I didn’t know since I don’t always check my blog.

Anyway, can you imagine the traffic that I lose because of this and hence affecting my RealRank? It’s not as if my RealRank is high but it’s good enough for some higher paying opps but to lose traffic like that for hours and on a work day too really hurts my ranking *sob*

What to do? I’m thinking of changing servers because I have three hosts but I don’t know how to go about it and I do not want to trouble other people. I get disappointed if I seek help but they do not extend their assistance so I’d just like to avoid all these.

Can You Handle A Stateless Society?

Having just emerged from a weekend general elections where the ruling national coalition government was nearly swept away by the tsunami of the opposition coalition, and political analysts now saying that the opposition coalition will also end up with the same problems as the national coalition; with fraud, cronyism, corruption and inequality, I have wondered if we MUST have a government.

Coincidentally just now, I was told of a Stateless Freedom Website which holds the aspirations of living in a world borderless community without a government, corrupted or otherwise

I think that this is a wonderful concept where we make our own rules based on common sense and love for all mankind. However, I don’t think that this can be implemented anytime soon because people are still not mature enough to self-regulate their actions hence they need the government and the law.

Like the Stateless Freedom website states, to live in a stateless world, we need to have RESPECT, a respect for the lives of other people, animals and other living beings and a respect their rights. However, I think that people are still a far cry to be able to handle such responsibility towards mankind.

Political Tsunami In Penang Led By DAP

With one voice, one heart and one vote, Penang folks have shown the world the definition of the “People’s Power”. Many people have sensed a political change in the air in recent times and it is not surprising when there are so many factors that cause unhappiness and dissatisfaction among the Rakyat.

While there were fractions who disagreed that Dr. Koh did not name his successor as Chief Minister of Penang, in retrospect, his safe play has been a blessing to the person that he would have named. Who would want to be told that he [or she] would be the new Chief Minister in the new State Government only to see the awful performance of the party in this 12th General Election?

I think this win in Penang by DAP along with PKR and PAS is loud enough to the Barisan Nasional Coalition to buck up. Voters are now more politically aware, more politically mature. They know, as seen in this example in Penang, that they DO have a say in who stays and who leaves.

And, they do not have to make noises in kopishops but to exercise their fundamental right as a citizen to vote. Like I said, vote wisely as every vote counts.

Months ago, I wrote a post about BackGammon Masters and their ability to support so many languages. Guess what? I just received the news that they now can also support Bulgarian. The other day, I read in a blog that it is against the terms and conditions to use Ad block beautifier that many people are currently using on their blogs next to these ads. Most of these people use images of sexy women or other misleading images to lure people to click on these adverts.

I told a friend about this who is using this plug-in, and has been using it since he started his blog, though he is not using images of sexy ladies, but he said that he has not faced any problems with using this.

I don’t know about him, if he wants to continue using it even though he knows that he has violated the terms and conditions and then end up being banned, don’t come crying to me 😀 Actually, he is not the only one who violated the ToS of this company. This company has so many hoops to jump through that many people have unknowingly violated them. That’s why I pulled them down from my blogs. Blekkk!
