Maimun Yusuf [Tok Mun] Parliamentary Candidate Of The 12th Malaysian General Elections

I was so caught up in the 12trh Malaysian General Elections that I did not even find the time to write a post on Maimun Yusuf, a 89-year old lady who decided to be a parliamentary candidate in the 12th Malaysia General Elections that was just concluded.

I read that Tok Mun, as she is more popularly known as, has two young chaps helping her with her e-campaign and they set up a blog for her, a Facebook profile and recorded plenty of videos of her and published on YouTube.

At 89, many people were wondering why she even bothered to contest but contest she did and is now on her way to the Guinness Book of World Records.

I really gotta salute her for still being so strong and healthy and even running for a Parliamentary Seat! You should see the number of news reports and blog posts Tok Mun generated around the world!

I’m still smarting with all the eggs that I have been slapped with. The sting is when my friends with blog that still have a rank let me know that a certain place is full of opportunities and I could not see any!

How can this be so unfair? Like I have stressed, slap us all or not at all.

If you are a regular blog hopper, I am sure you can see that there are plenty of blogs that are filled with paid posts and STILL carry a high page rank. OK, I’m just being sour. SIGH :(

Recently, I was chatting with my friend and we talked about the best way to invest and the fastest way to see returns. I told him that it would be in real estate but my friend says that it would be via stock options. I may not be familiar with stock options but I know that it carries a pretty high risk and I am not willing to take on this risk.

However, my friend says that by using professional tools to analyze the data of stock options like the options screener, he could lower his risk because he is better informed and could make a better choice.

With the help of options screener from PowerOptions, he believes that he could see his money grow way faster than he could do it by himself without the assistance of proven tools.

Who do you think will be the Malaysian Dream Girl? If you like to support leng luis, this is the reality show for you. Personally, I don’t care one way or the other who wins or lose because I no longer have time for TV but I am surprised that a show like this could still pique the interest of people from various age groups. All right, maybe I am OLD already?

1000 EntreCard Credits

A few days ago, I got news that I won a contest. I was so happy and excited but then I later found out that the prize I won was 1000 EntreCard Credits. Boohoohoo. How sad. This 1000 was the second prize and the first prize was US$100. How I can do with the cash but luck was not on my side. GGGrrrr

What can 1000 EntreCard Credits do? I myself have plenty of EntreCard Credits already with three accounts with them, though I have stopped dropping cads on purpose because I have no time to do so.

And because I no longer drop cards actively and since the directory has grew at such a fast pace, I am no longer getting quality traffic from them.

What I do now is just to allow people to advertise on my blog for 2 EntreCard Credits. LOL So low, huh? Don’t care lah!

Did you read the news report on the press conference of Dato’ Seri Dr. Lim Keng Yaik that he made on the day he cleared out his office? I found it so funny that he told his Gerakan people to start websites and blogs to criticize the new alternative government. HAHAHAHA

I wonder if I was the only one who found it damn funny. I think that he’s like a generation late because the internet revolves so fast setting up a blog now with the sole intention to criticize the Government, who will want to read? How many RPK can there be, right?

Can you imagine, now that he has retired from active politics and become the advisor to Gerakan, he has so much time on his hands that his learns how to blog, together with Zam, and then both of them start to criticize the Government with their new platform LOL
