Free Keyword Extractor For WordPress Powered Blogs

A couple of days ago, I was searching the internet on how to add meta tags to my blog and to each post. I found a couple of WordPress plug-ins that was supposed to do the trick but I left them unused because I do not know how they work and I did not see any changes at all. The reason I wanted to add meta tags is because I read that with this optimized, I could drive more traffic to m blog because the search engine bots would be able to crawl my blogs better. As you know, traffic is very important to a blogger, especially to a blogger who is trying to monetize her blogs.

Coincidentally, I was told of this free auto keywords extraction from Wordsfinder.com that is said to be able to automatically extract our text and generate keywords relevant to our content. I checked out the demonstration on the website of Wordsfinder.com and it looks like a pretty easy tool to use. I mean, just type in your text and then just click on the GENERATE button and it will call up the number of keywords suggestions that you have set. Five is an optimum number.

I have already downloaded the Wordsfinder WordPress plugin and gotten my API key. Like I mentioned, it is free to use but only for personal blogs and up to ten queries a day. I will begin using Wordsfinder from now onwards and hopefully there is a spike in traffic. I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

Did you already read about the new MacBook Air? I watched its new video and I must say I am very impressed with its revolutionary design and features. See, I have so much free time on my hands that I even could spare the few minutes to watch a video of a product that I have no intention to purchase.

Although I have to admit that from US$1799, the MacBook Air is not that expensive considering its weight and size, to think that I will splurge that much on a laptop is crazy. Well, if I do that, I must be crazy already!

You know, I was not impressed with Mac products previously and had no interest in them until I laid hands on the Apple iPhone. I can say a thousand times that I wish that it supports 3G but I would not trade it for any other device, unless it’s a 3G iPhone hehe!

Managing Fifteen Blogs

My friend was surprised to learn that I have fifteen blogs. How can one juggle that many blogs when there are only so many hours in the day! What surprised her even more is that I am a known procrastinator! I admit some time back, I was unable to manage my time properly and ended up feeling overly stressed when it should be something enjoyable to do.

Well, I have better time management right now and juggling fifteen blogs is almost “nothing”. Did you read an old post of mine on rotating my blogs to update by using an exercise book? That’s right. Sometimes it’s better to go back to basics!

Time management is a whole lot easier to stick to if you have set career goals to achieve. I was advised by my friend to set a mid-term goal that is not too difficult to reach. If it’s an impossible goal, I would feel demoralized. Therefore, even for personal goal setting, we have to be realistic. With that as the main focus, we would be able to make full use of our time in the best possible way.

Traffic = PR?

I guess the title of my post is pretty obvious. We all know that the algo has changed but to what formula? It seems to me that the higher our traffic, the faster our PR will rise. Is my observation correct? Now, it’s not that I want to give my blogs a fake traffic boost or anything but it will help my sanity if I at least do understand that why some blogs full of paid to post banners can still maintain their page rank while others without any, cannot!

Oh, on the other hand, I was told that some bloggers have a Page rank of 2 for the test blogs. I also have a blog that I set up especially to test templates before I mess with my proper blogs. As soon as I heard this piece of news from the other bloggers, I checked mine too. SIGH no luck lah!!! Isn’t it galling???

I wonder how long we have to suffer from being sandboxed. Errrmmm my friends, who went from PR4 to PR0 and now back to PR2 just by continuing to blog said that it was a dry six-month spell. Sigh…. there’s still a long way to wait.

A New Way to Monetize Our Blogs

Well, not exactly new, but I got your attention, didn’t I? Snap Bomb is a new blog marketing marketplace like so many others that we already know of.

When I was told of SnapBomb, I registered for an account and added my blogs to my account. Each blog is automatically valued and you can start checking out the marketplace for opportunities already. That’s right, they do not even have to review your blog for approval!

I may be new to SnapBomb but I am definitely not new to blog advertising. So, for all new members, we will have to write a review of SnapBomb before we are rated. The thing is, we were told to review the service and indirectly create a buzz for the company but we are not told of the minimum word length of our post and we can publish the review on any blog that we have added to our account. Once we have made a reservation to review an opportunity, we will be given a full twelve hours to submit our review.

Although I have checked through all the links on SnapBomb, I can’t seem to find any information on payment. All I know is that we will be paid via PayPal and this is great news for international bloggers. However, there’s no schedule listed or anything. And you know, bloggers are very sensitive when it comes to payment issues!

Anyway, let me try the service out first and give you a follow up later!

I came across this blog called Centrinads, the place where bloggers make money easily. How? Just by commenting on the posts. Is that easy enough?

From what I see, this blog is very new. It only has ten posts but once you are a registered member, membership is free, by the way, just comment on those posts and your account will be credited with US$0.60. Sometimes the payout is higher, depending on the post.

Once you have accumulated a minimum of US$10, you will be paid automatically to your PayPal. If you think that US$0.60 is a little low, just do the Math. How long does it take to read a blog post and leave a relevant comment?
