Periodic Table and Chemistry Element Facts

This afternoon, I was told to check out the website of Chemicool at http://www.chemicool.com/ . I was rather amused because I did not expect it to be a Chemical website. It reminded me of my high school days where I had to study Chemistry for two years. I found it a tough subject, but though I did not fail it, I had difficulty remember Chemical formulas.

Chemicool.com has a Periodic table of all the common chemicals so that we could easily refer to it to check the similarities and differences of chemical elements. If you are interested in chemicals, check out Chemicool at http://www.chemicool.com/. You can also view individual chemical element facts by clicking on each colored square.

I shall not attempt to explain more because Chemistry is not my forte. I still have nightmares of my Chemistry teacher, Mr. Thong. And surely, I cannot start a niche Chemistry blog.

Indecision

A few months ago, I wrote a post about either downgrading my 3G subscription to normal 3G and not Celcom Advance OR to upgrade my mobile device.

Well, until today, I cannot decide. It is rather frustrating that I am paying for something that I cannot fully utilise. Also, mobile devices are not cheap and mine is only one year old.

However, I am a little moved into upgrading when I see new mobile devices in the market. Nokia has an excellent 5.0MP camera in its latest Nokia N82. It’s selling at almost MYR2000 for an original set.

So if you were in my shoes, what will you do? Continue to pay MYR98 for Celcom broadband advance yet do not have a mobile device or modem that could support it, so need to downgrade the subscription or upgrade the device. I am currently using Nokia E61i, by the way, and it is only a 3G capable.

Who Is Going To Disney World?

If you are planning a vacation to Disney World in Orlando, Florida this summer, you may want to check out Orlando Fun Tickets where you would be able to get hold of discount Disney World tickets.

My sister, who has been to Disney World numerous times, told me that entrance tickets could be extremely costly, especially during holiday seasons and that the cost of these tickets really eats into her vacation budget. Now that I know of Orlando Fun Tickets, I will ask her to check it out to see how much she can save on her theme park entrance tickets, particularly Disney World tickets, her favorite theme park of all.

Besides cheaper tickets, those who purchase their tickets online from Orlando Fun Tickets could buy their tickets early and plan their vacation better. They also get to avoid the horrendous holiday crowd at the gate!

New EntreCard Features

If you have been reading my blog, you will know that I was one of the early members of EntreCard. And then the site receive so many new members and websites that I got lost there. In the early days, I received an additional 20 unique visitors from EntreCard members alone but now, I hardly get one or two but then I am totally not active there.

I only drop cards on blogs that I chance upon during random blog hopping and I do not purposely drop cards from the many blogs listed on EntreCard. Well, I no longer do that because I don’t have the time. Anyway, I stopped adding blogs to EntreCard after my third blog as I ran out of email addresses to register with.

Well, that’s history already because yesterday, I received an email from EntreCard introducing their new features and one of them, the most welcome of all, to me, is the ability to add multiple blogs to a single account.

Yes, I will get down to merging my accounts soon because logging in and out of my accounts, even though I only have three, could be tedious. I wonder how others have the time and patience to do it.

In Search Of Food Niche Blogs and Websites

I will be very busy in the next couple of weeks as I would be helping a friend kick start his new advertising venture. My task is to help look for blogs and websites that are in the food niche. This will include blogs and websites on wine, cooking, recipe, eating out, fine dining and anything that is food related. Hhmm YUMMY!

Talking about food, I have three blogs that I wish to set up within these couple of days, after I have completed updating my blogs, which have been left idle prior to the change in servers. Well, one of them will be a blog on my recipe collection.

I got this idea to share my collection of recipes in a blog after spending one month clearing out my room and discovering a large stack of recipes. So why not share them with people who have a passion for food, right? So yes, this recipe blog is going to be my passion blog as well.

Errr… how many blogs do I have already? O.o

Buying Fresh Flowers From Online Florist

I have a neighbor who is a florist and she has a floral business in town. I see that she does rather good business but I have visited her shop before and I would have to say that she does not have too many varieties of flowers or bouquet designs to select from. Still, she managed to garner loyal customers. They don’t know better, I guess.

If I were to buy a bouquet of flowers, I would rather buy from an online florist because the array of fresh flowers and the many different kinds of floral bouquets are impressive.

Moreover, by buying online, I do not have to worry about keeping the flowers fresh or picking them up from the florist. I just need to pick out what I want in my order, pay for it and it will be delivered to the door of my recipient. Isn’t it way more convenient?

20 WordPress Plug-ins & Counting

I read that installing and activating too many WordPress plug-ins to our blogs will reduce the performance of our servers or something. Gee… I am using slightly more than twenty plug-ins now already and I still have not explored other plug-ins that promote SEO of our blogs.

A friend told me that she uses only a handful of plug-ins and I wonder how it could be. There’s the contact form, spam blocker, comment notification, comment love, archives, stats tracker and sitemap just to name a few. And I would like to think that each plug-in I activate helps my blog in someway so I don’t even know how to reduce the number of plug-ins I use. Like I said, the above are just a handful and off-hand, I can’t even remember my long list of plug-ins.

If you are also blogging on a WordPress powered blog, do you mind sharing with me the plug-ins that you use? I’m trying to look for free WordPress plug-ins that would help with my SEO but so far, I don’t have the time yet.
