Page Rank Down

Have you heard that there was a Page Rank Update over the weekend? Well, it was more like a “Down date” as many blogs and websites were demoted. Page Rank is something that we should never take for granted.

As a blogger with seven active blogs, one of mine was downgraded from a 3 to 2. I was not surprised as that was one of the least visited blogs. It was a 2 just before monetizing it and went up to 3 in the following update. It stayed at 3 in the next nine months or so but now it is back to its original two.

Well, I guess I am rather relieved that I am not as hard hit as other people. I read that some people dropped from a 3 to zero over night. That would be a nightmare!

After all is said and done, as long as our blogs is not totally removed from the index of major search engines, we would have the chance to build up our blogs or site once again.
