Topamax Side Effects & Lawsuit

While surfing the internet, I have come across, now and then, an anti-convulsant. I didn’t pay much attention to it all these while, until I read about an on-going Topamax lawsuit recently.

Since reading that article, I have been looking for information on Topamax. It’s quite shocking the side effects of the drug. It causes cleft lips or cleft palate in varying degrees of seriousness in babies. I am not sure all babies are affected but the number is significant.

Although I personally do not know of anyone who has been prescribed with Topamax, it’s a good idea to share this information on my blog. Jot down this law firm if you know of any victim who requires legal assistance.

Think Geek Promotion Codes

With the recent launch of iPad 2, many of us are waiting to upgrade our tablets. I am thinking of passing my first generation iPad to my dad but I find that he has difficulty tapping on the screen. Naturally, he has larger fingers than I do and even I find it quite difficult to type long text or browse the web on the tablet.

A friend told me that I should get him a pogo stylus. I tried out his pogo stylus and I like the fact that it’s precise and won’t stain our screen like our fingers will so it’s a good accessory to have.

ThinkGeek is selling this Pogo Stylus at US$14.99 but being cheapskate, I am keeping an eye on an appropriate thinkgeek promo code that I could use on my purchase. Checking the many ThinkGeek coupons available on CouponUS, perhaps I would need to buy a couple of these Pogo Stylus to be able to enjoy the discount.

Prior to making any purchase online, I always check CouponUS to see if there is a coupon that I could make use of. Some friends say that I’m petty to want to save that bit of money but I am someone who will stretch my money every chance I have!

Malaysian PM Invites Facebook Friends To ‘Mari Berjumpa, Mari Berhubung’

The Malaysian Prime Minister has posted on his Facebook, throwing open an invitation to Sarawakians to meet and communicate with him when he travels to Sarawak on March 19th.

Obviously, many of his fans in Sarawak are delighted to be given this opportunity to meet and greet with the Prime Minister of Malaysia himself; they don’t usually have the chance, you see, as they are separated by the South China Sea from the administration office of the country over in West Malaysia.

Those who are interested to “apply” for an invitation can do so by going to this page http://www.1malaysia.com.my/mari-berjumpa-mari-berhubung/ and fill out and submit a very, very detailed form. Invitations will then be sent out to those who are successful.

I have no idea how guests are selected but I believe a few hundred people will get to attend this social gathering with the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Looking For An Experienced Personal Injury Attorney

My cousin brother, who works as a manager at a night club, was recently injured in a fight. Well, the customers were fighting and he went between them to try to break them up. It’s too bad that he was injured. I read about a similar case in the papers recently and the Good Samaritan was killed! I guess my cousin is lucky to be “just” injured.

We are trying to help him engage an experienced personal injury attorney but it’s not easy. We don’t have any contacts previously. I do know of an Austin personal injury attorney who is with O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath. Unfortunately, my cousin does not live in Texas.

O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath specializes in personal injury and auto accident cases. They provide free initial consultation and their attorneys are able to meet with their clients at the place and time convenient to their clients. I find this personal touch most endearing. It’s not about business but “people first”.

Easy Fast Cheap Online Traffic School

A friend just told me that she drives 120km to work and takes the same distance after work to get home. That’s pretty amazing, I think. I wouldn’t have the dedication to commute that far to report for work everyday! My friend thinks that it’s pretty therapeutic but I think that I would be too tensed up to relax as I stay alert looking out for the large fast cars which are driven at an average speed of 140 to 160kph!

Also, I tend to think that the longer we are on the road, the better the chance for us to pick up a ticket. I wouldn’t mind if all we need to do is take a short course at a traffic school to reverse our traffic points that we have accumulated, which luckily could be done online, but unfortunately, this isn’t available where I live.

I like it that in the United States, we can take Defensive Driving cheaply online at our own convenience. Best of all, it’s free until we decide to sit for the test. So this means that we don’t have to waste money and time repeating the quiz at the end of the test until we are really confident of passing!

However, for those who still are not able to get through the final hurdle, Easy Fast Cheap Online Traffic School will not accept further payment for repeating the quiz.

Tablet War Intensifies

I am eagerly waiting as more tablets are expected to be launched later this year as show at recent computer and mobile devices conferences.

Although I don’t really need a tablet at the moment, it’s something that’s good to have on hand, obviously. However, at the rate that tablets are being introduced, it really is not easy to decide which one to buy. I am all for advancement in technology but it’s just as difficult to keep up price-wise.

The latest Motorola Xoom is expected to be priced at US$799 and that is a pretty steep price by American device standards. While Malaysians have no problems paying US$500 for smart phones, Americans think that US$100 for a smart phone is “expensive”.

Would there be any takers for the US$799 Motorola Xoom? Here in Malaysia, it’s like the price of an iPad though iPad is not “old” while Xoom will carry the “latest” technology and specifications.

Event Blogger Looks For Horse Insurance Companies

I recently set up a new blog where I cover events and I had the opportunity to visit a horse show. It’s kind of weird that even though I live in a city that has one of the largest turf clubs in the country, I never had the opportunity to do so. I love horses but I just never was able to squeeze in the time.

Because of my new events blog, though, I made it a point to go and boy, was I glad. I took many photos at the event. This is only one of them! Horses are so elegant. They can be a little scary, though, because of their size, and I made sure not to stand behind them!

My mother, who knows that I have a soft spot for animals, told me not to even entertain the thought of keeping a horse. She said that having one horse is akin to having to juggle three wives! That certainly thwarted my thoughts! I was on the verge of looking for horse insurance companies already! Hehehehe

I was reading this website http://www.horse-insurance.co.uk and like the idea of buying horse insurance that tailors to the specific needs of the horse and budget of the owner. Not all horse insurance companies offer this flexibility.

Oh well, I think I better forget about keeping horses. I certainly don’t have the budget!
