If you have read my blog like 1.5 months ago, I believe you would know that I wanted the Viewty. I know I am being greedy to want both the iPhone and Viewty. After much contemplation though, I decided to stick to my Nokia E61i.

My friend told me that there is no point having two touch screen phones and it is sometimes better to be able to pres buttons than touch screen. This I have to agree! Besides, the screen of the Viewty is not as sensitive and we would have to press harder than the iPhone’s screen. Actually, I can’t decide which is better.

Sometimes I think that it would be better to have to touch harder because with the iPhone, it is so sensitive that many times, I go to the wrong menu accidentally and that just wastes my time.

In any case, I am not going to get the Viewty. It may have an excellent camera but then all those settings for the right shot kills my mood for a good picture!

My friend, Paul, who is an architect and contractor, told me that he received a project to remodel a home in Arizona. I was surprised that he managed to secure a job out there even though he does not have an office in Arizona. Paul told me that this property belongs to one of his clients in New York and he loves Paul’s designs so much that he wants Paul to do the house in Arizona as well.

Paul said that he wants a pool built in the garden of this house and was put in touch with arizona swimming pool contractors by a local.

This is bad. My iPhone is my new toy. I know that I recently swore off playing games but I can’t help it. I have games installed on my Nokia E61i, an enterprise mobile device that we could hardly find any free games for it because it is an ENTERPRISE unit!

But now, as if those mobile games are not enough, I have games in my iPhone and I have bookmarked a whole list of iPhone games sites. You may know that iPhone does not allow the installation of third party applications *ahem* so there are not that many games that we could install. Oh, I thank God for this!!! Otherwise, I would be spending way more time playing and playing.

I think it is not that I love playing so much but the fact that I always want to out do myself, yes, even in games that I play alone. There must be something wrong with me. LOL

I hope that this addiction to iPhone games will be just a passing fad and that I will outgrow it as soon as possible so that I could concentrate on more important things in life!

It is very rare for me to get a balanced meal because I eat on the go due to my hectic work schedule. Most of my meals are takeaways or instant food that only requires heating up with the microwave oven.

Yesterday, a friend told me that she heard of a product called Body Balance which is a liquid food supplement that helps to replenish whatever nutrients that our body did not get from our food.

This sounds like what I should be taking as I know eating the way I do is unhealthy but then how often do I get to eat home-cooked food? I think only once a month!

Body Balance, which comes in a bottle, is also very convenient as it doesn’t need extra preparation. Just my kind of supplement!

A met a friend for dinner the other and she saw me using my Nokia E61i and she said that it’s boring. SOB I know!! But the reason I bought it is because I could use it as a modem and I dig QWERTY. People who have not used QWERTY before would not understand.

And it is really helpful when I have so many things to write, write and write that having QWERTY stops me from keying in my letters more time than I should. Just imagine how many keystrokes I save myself by using QWERTY keyboard.

Sometimes, while I prefer to type on my computer properly, it could not be helped since work continues to pile up even when I am away from the computer so having an internet enabled mobile device with QWERTY is very useful.

Also, I use it to take down whatever notes and blog ideas I have so that I could expand on my ideas when I have the time. One idea, one note. Then add text to the title LOL That’s how I blog!

I marvel at the passion Americans have for sports. My sister tells me that every year, they are waiting for one major event after another and everyone would queue up to buy tickets to the big games. People who are not able to get tickets would be outcasts and losers. Well, at least they are made to feel like that at my sister’s office!!!

After six years living in the Untied States, my sister has adopted this part of their sporting culture and I find it funny that she will be saving up money the whole year only to splash it on a ticket. But I think it is better for her to be able to BUY those tickets than feel frustrated not being able to view live sports matches and have to watch pay-per-view.

Like the Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez boxing match which has been the talk of the whole country, I told my sister, better to get the Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez tickets online or she will lose out.

Although the match is scheduled on March 15, 2008, in Las Vegas, and may seem like a lifetime away, who knows, time flies so fast, it will be here sooner than we thought and only to realize that the tickets are all sold out!

It’s the time of the year where we have to make our New Year’s resolution. I never make my list and even if I do, I will only not follow whatever that I wrote down!! Maybe that is why I see time flying past me without achieving anything great the year past!

This year though, I only have one resolution. Something that is in my control and that is to stay focused. I want to be focused in my work, in blogging and in life. I want to be able to achieve my ambition and with focus, I know I can do that.

I hope I will not get distracted by serious time wasting stuff like playing games and watching movies. I used to like telling myself that I am learning SOMETHING by playing games or watching movies hehehe but that just waste my time and take me away from my tasks at hand.
