My friend was involved in a very bad car accident recently. Although she is physically unharmed, her car would need to be “hospitalized” for a month or so. My friend is quite disappointed that she would not have her own transport this coming one month. She said that she has made an appointment with another friend to buy gold coins together in the capital city.

A former colleague told me that he is making good money investing in gold online. I have no idea how he goes about it since he is not willing to share his secret but I am surprised that for someone who is of the older generation and not web savvy at all, he has ventured into online investments and making money from it!

He asked me if I would like to join him in the venture, though he would be the decision maker while I just have to remit money to him for my share of the investment. Errr… I don’t think so. I would suggest that he try credit card consolidation also so that he wouldn’t feel overwhelmed by his mounting bills and free himself of the unnecessary pressure. Of course, with fewer credit cards to juggle with, he would not be able to take out advances anymore.

Anyway, I found him a good consumer credit counseling service and hopes that when he is ready, he could take the step forward into being debt-free. It will be a slow process but it’s a positive move.

My friends and I are thinking of investing in gold. the problem is that although all of us have invested in one thing or another previously, none of us have bought gold before. Sure I have bought gold jewelry but I am planning to buy gold coins as a form of investment.

Luckily, there are plenty of gold articles easily available online for us to read and understand how investing in gold works. We are all web savvy so each of us are supposed to do our own homework and then compare notes.
