Which Photo Storage/Sharing Service?

I am sure by now everyone knows that Yahoo! Photos will be shut this autumn. What to do now but to move my photos? There are a few hundred photos stored in my albums. Yahoo! and Photobucket are the only services that I am using but Yahoo has the bulk of my photo while Photobucket is more like for hot linking of images.

Truth be told, I don’t have preference one over the other. Both offer an “OK” service only, in my opinion.

So now that I have to move my photos somewhere, where is a good place? I have Flickr but I registered that account just so that I could view my friends’ photos!

I am thinking of Google’s Picasa but that is more like a sharing service. My usage is more towards storage first and then sharing a handful of photos now and then. I would love to house all my photos under one site. If possible, I would also want to move my Photobucket photos to the same storage and sharing site. Well… let me remember where I have linked my photos to!

Aihhh headache, hate decisions! Where to keep my photos now? I don’t want a second shut down :-(

Source For Compatible Ink

When I bought my printer last month, I was so happy because I paid for it with my hard earned money. Unfortunately, everyone told me how dumb I am for buying such a cheap printer that uses expensive ink!

Well, what could I do now? I already started to use it and after 1.5 months, I am in need of new ink! Trust me when I say Dura-Brite is ultra expensive even if they never smudge!

A friend told me to get compatible ink online. He said that websites like Inkers.biz are great choices because their generic ink is reliable and they have a 30-day money back policy, no questions asked. Moreover, all toners and ink cartridges have a year of warranty against defect. Boy, is that good news. At least we are assured that our money will not go down the drain.

What I am afraid of buying online though, is the shipping charges and delay in delivery but it looks like Inkers.biz have already gotten that out of the way with free ground shipping plus the shortest possible delivery time of 2 – 3 days. I am sold!

Analyzing & Improving Golfing

I mentioned before that y friend Paul has took up golfing. His main purpose is to expand his social network to improve his business but he decided that it is no fun playing badly even if it is a non-competitive game.

He bought a golf software that apparently will help him to improve his golf handicap. He told me that even golfing professionals are using it so it should be very efficient and reliable.

Then online golf handicap software that is available through NetHandicap.com at an affordable $29.99 per year analyses his golfing with an efficient golf handicap calculation method that tracks his progress over a period of time with charts and graphs.

Paul says that by having his game analyzed, he will surely improve! I wish him good luck!

Everyone’s A Winner!

I was randomly surfing the internet and Googling for some information when I came across a blog post contest that is currently being held. This contest, initiated by one of our prominent bloggers, Daryl W.T. Lau (I know him but he doesn’t know me!) is very easy to participate in. That’s why I’m joining because I don’t like to crack my head to win prizes!

Anyway, the purpose of the contest is to create awareness for his newly launched bidding directory at Clinke.com. It is now all the rage for people to not only get their site listed on directories, but to PAY for the prominence that it appears in the directory. Naturally, the more you are willing to bid, the more exposure your site will be accorded. Money speaks. It’s as simple as that.

Daryl says that once the directory proper has gained momentum, he will establish a directory blog so as to update directory members and other interested parties of new developments or promotions that are being held for users. That sounds great, doesn’t it?

If you would like further information on Daryl’s contest, which is currently still on-going, hop over to his blog, Earn Money Online, for the full details. Join the contest for the fun of it. Win or not, we are providing a friendly buzz. And that’s a good thing, you know?

Free Gay & Lesbian Video eCards

I was actually searching for free greeting cards for my friend’s upcoming birthday when I accidentally stumbled upon free lesbian e-greetings instead. I am actually not surprised that there are free e-cards that cater exclusively to gays and lesbians. They too need a card to cheer them up once in awhile, I guess.

The ecards here are not the usual postcards or animated cards but they are artistic video ecards. I am not even sure if I have seen video cards before, let alone FREE ones.

What I feel is that even non-gays can send and receive these cards too because they are all tastefully created. They are like pieces of art. Check them out, will you?

Looking At MySpace In A New Light

Some of you may know that I do not understand the popularity of MySpace. I see it as this cluttered virtual jungle where people lurk around and making friends with strangers whom we know not their intentions. This goes for all social bookmarking sites. As you can see, I ain’t no fan of them though I am a member of some of them after giving in to the persuasion of friends.

Today, though, I came across someone saying that we can actually increase traffic to our sites or blogs. I think it means putting links up on our profile and then being active making friends with strangers?

Or does it mean that search engines will pick up our URL easily from our profiles? I have seen many MySpace profiles popping up on Google Search. One of them was Bon Jovi’s MySpace page when I was searching for something else. Maybe MySpace profiles are search engine friendly?

Well, I have a new target starting next month and that is to increase my Google Page rank and lower my Alexa Score. Maybe I should make full use of my MySpace profile.

The Phone Resource For All Telecommunication Needs

The other day, I was chatting with a good friend about a mutual friend who is deaf. He told me that this girl, still uses her cell phone exclusively for sending and receiving text messages only since she is not able to use it for voice. He told me that she replies to SMS text very quickly but I have been wondering, how can she be holding on to the phone the whole day?

Coincidentally, today I came across this website that sells all kinds of phones and telecommunications accessories. They also have a couple of hearing impaired phones that I think our friend will find most useful.

Apart from these phones for people with special needs, they also have video telephony products, pagers, voice recorders, novelty phones that make great gifts, radios for outdoor communications and many more.

It is great that we can make our purchase from The Phone Resource and request for their gift wrapping service and have it shipped directly to our gift recipient. They have four different styles for only $4.95 each. That eliminates the hassle of wrapping the item up ourselves!
