Are Streamyx Devils Playing Me??? T!U

Just now I was happy that my Stremyx was restored after 48 long hours. Little did I know that it will be down AGAIN! It has been down since slightly before 8pm and what time is it now???

I called up Streamyx again just now and gave them my report number. After a check, the guy told me that the status listed for my case is still “in progress” and the deadline is tomorrow.

What the heck… they told me that deadline is two days upon lodging a report and now they are way past it already. Did you know, last evening, a lady called me up and told me that she is from TM Point and asked me if I were willing to answer a few questions which is a survey of how satisfied I am with their customer service.

She wanted to know the level of satisfactory I have towards their technical knowledge, courtesy, and bla bla bla and I told her that I will be satisfied if they just get my problem solved. That’s all.

Just now, the guy who fielded my call wanted to help me with troubleshooting and I told him to cut the crap. The problem doesn’t lie on my side, OK? Now I am so pissed off!

P/S: I will continue to write and write about my Streamyx broadband internet until I get what I have subscribed to. Please bear with me!

One Good Love For The LGBT Community

Some of you may know that I have visited countless dating sites because being single, it is like my friends and family’s agenda to help me meet as many guys as possible, online and offline. Today, I had the chance to check out a dating site that is slightly different from the kind of dating sites that I am used to.

This personals site is called One Good Love and it is set up for the lesbian, gay and bisexual community. We know how difficult it is for these people to take their relationship to the next level. People tend not to take them seriously.

With One Good Love, members can check out gay personals discreetly and make contact through the site. Gay dating has gone web savvy and there is no need to pick up people from the bar anymore.

This website is not for people who are looking for fun but for people who are ready to take gay or lesbian dating to a deeper level.

Streamyx Restored After 48 Hours

Should I cheer that my Streamyx broadband internet connection is restored after exactly 48 hours? Well, isn’t it HIGH TIME already? I believe that since I subscribed to Streamyx until now, this has been the longest outage that I ever went through.

I feel damn lucky that I could rely on my Celcom 3G. It was not perfect because my Nokia E61i was very hot working as a modem for such long hours and I could not use it as a phone without either the call dropping or the internet signal dropping even with an incoming SMS text but at least I still had an interent connection.

Some people told me that I should ask for a rebate for the outage but to go without Streamy for two days is only RM2.20 per day since my package is only RM66 per month. Aiya … RM4.40 only, forget it lah, it’s not worth the hassle.

Maybe I Should Use AddThis?

Just now, I was checking out a few blogs when I came upon a blogger who used AddThis. There is just one obstructive Bookmark button at the end of her post. Clicking on it opens up a new window with link out to all other social bookmarking services. Well, which services do readers want to us is perfectly up to them and they can select from the pop up window.

OK, so now I am of two minds. I don’t know if I would just use Stumble Upon plug-in or to replace it with Addthis, a full-fledged service to social bookmarking sites.

Well, what do you think? Which plug-in are you using? Do you prefer to have the social bookmarking of your choice available to you or would you be more comfortable having one service available to you only without having to decide?

Free Web Counter

I mentioned that I now have four new blogs and two websites and while they are still very new, I don’t have much traffic so I am taking my time to install traffic tracker. All my blogs have them because it helps me in determining what are the popular posts and keywords that people search for on the web.

Just now, I was told that I can grab counters for my blogs so I went to check and yes, there are so many designs and colors that would suit any blog layout.

These counters are free to use and there is no need to even register with the site. However, if you require professional statistics of your traffic, then you will have to sign up. The website says that there are no banners and visible advertising.

However, do note that each free counter comes with a link back to an online poker site. Some people are against this so these will not be suitable for their blog or website.

I Can’t Freaking Work, OK???

So it has been one full day WITHOUT Streamyx and I am ready to scream already. You know why? Because this morning, I got a call from a technician from Telekom who told me that my telephone line is restored. Hey… there is NOTHING wrong with my telephone line la! It’s my Streamyx connection that has a problem.

And this is all because they keep telling me that my connection is fine as shown on their activity log book. That’s why they keep telling me that my Streamyx line is fine and suspect that the problem is with my telephone line. GGrrrrr But like the previous time, I could call in and out without a problem or even any static noise.

Eyeerrrr how to work when I have to keep making calls to annoy them to get my line restored? I can’t even use my mobile device because it is damn hot now after non-stop use for 24 hours! GGGrrrrrrrr

Nymphomercial For A Monk Jumped Over a Wall

Although I have been a YouTube member for a long time, it was only recently that I started to share my videos online. I am amazed that there are so many users who send a better part of their day just watching videos on YouTube!

That’s why I think that the author who created the Nymphomercial – A Monk Jumped Over a Wall with his friends are brilliant in capitalizing the popularity of the site to market his new novel. I was told that this nymphomercial has almost gone viral in college campuses. I believe that before long, this will be posted in a lot of blogs too.

The author of A Monk Jumped Over a Wall, Jay Nussbaum, really has an interesting profile and I am surprised that he came to Malaysia before. I think that I will also be trying to get a copy of A Monk Jumped Over a Wall although I am by no means influenced by the nymphomercial. Nope, I swear, I am not!
