Software Solutions To Suit Your Budget

If you are looking for an all-in-one cost effective and efficient software security solution, you may want to check out Software Security Solutions, the company that produced a smart security suite, including ESET smart security, a new smart defense that was developed to block malware.

I was surprised that there are seventy different variants malware released everyday. Tell me, with this threat, how can a company that depends heavily on software programs and the internet prevent from a virus infection or Trojan attack?

These solutions developed by Software Security Solutions are meant for small to medium scale businesses and these companies can purchase licenses depending on their needs, whether for a company, a year or for up to four computers for two years. It really is up to the company and how they want to accommodate their budget.

Microsoft Offers To Buy Yahoo! For US$45 billion

Wow, that is a hefty amount of money, though these mega companies will hardly pay in cold hard cash.

Do you know of anyone who still uses Yahoo! products exclusively? Although I have my first email account with Yahoo! years ago, currently, I am only using Yahoo! email for my junk mail by joining mailing lists or registering with websites that ask for a valid email address and then spam these emails.

And I also installed Yahoo! Messenger but don’t have time to use it although it is connected the whole time my computer is online. See, I don’t even have time to chat.

I don’t use Yahoo search because it is too cluttered so I don’t know if it returns more or less relevant results than Google. I used to use Yahoo! Photos but they have shut this down last year. So, how much does the average internet user uses Yahoo now? Is US$45 billion worth it, not taking into consideration its potential for future growth?

Making Yahoo! Messenger Open In Your Favorite Browser

If you remember, my computer needed a format in November, 2007 and then another one just last week. In November, I was scratching my head on how to make Yahoo! Messenger in my preferred browser, Maxthon. It kept opening all links from my Y! M in FireFox instead.

Anyway, I gave up and decided to just let things be. Naturally, I did not check my Yahoo! email account as often as I would like to, since FireFox always opens a new link in the active tab, which I hate. If open in a new tab is all right lah.

So last week, I had the chance to try making my Yahoo! Messenger links open in Maxthon, and I was in a hurry to get my FireFox running first and only get to install Maxthon later.

I soon found out that if you want your Yahoo! Messenger links to open from a particular browser, install that browser last. No matter that Yahoo! Messenger supposedly uses Internet Explorer but in practical, it will open by default in the last browser that you have installed and there is no settings to change it.

Try this and let me know if it works for you!

FaceBook Members So Damn Free Meh?

If you remember, I registered with FaceBook reluctantly. I don’t like joining all these social networking portals because I don’t like to reject friend request. I know I should not mind but I don’t like to add strangers to my friendship list yet I feel bad rejecting them.

Anyway, so I joined and my God, I wonder why Facebook members are so free that they could spend hours just building their profile. Even though I have only eight friends on my list, I had to waste a lot of time just checking out the stuff that friends send to me and I would have to add applications to my profile and then respond. I am not sure if anyone noticed, Facebook server lags and there goes my time.

Even if you have received a flying kiss, a hug or a Thank You that makes you go all warm and fuzzy, remember that the sender would have sent the same thing to everyone on his friend’s list so that he could level up. It’s all so FAKE and I don’t understand why the whole thing is so popular.

I know opinion will rub off the wrong way on many FaceBook fans but like my friend says, “Better than Friendster, MySpace or Hi5, lah!”

Baby Store Recommendations

My friend, Yvonne, is a new mother to David. Yvonne is a very smart shopper who will stretch every dollar. It’s just as well seeing how the American economy has been performing lately.

I would not say that Yvonne buys only cheap items but rather, she would be something beautiful but always at a cheaper price. Maybe she has found a baby store that is running a sale, or she found promo codes for baby items on the internet. It is her habit to consult her friends and the internet before making a purchase.

Lila Guide is a great place for parents to seek information on which baby store to buy their items from. Of course, what separate a good store from a bad one would be quality of products, their prices and unsurpassed customer service. Such information is freely shared between members of the Lila Guide community who are all parents seeking the best for their children.

Driving More and More Traffic To My Blogs

As a blogger with more than ten blogs, I certainly could do with some free traffic because I can never find the time to network. I know that is the magical way to drive traffic to my posts, by leaving comments and hope the bloggers and their blog readers would notice my comment, like what I wrote and click on the link to my blog. Well, I do not have time for that and I hope that blogging is just writing without the need to drive traffic. I would be perfectly happy if I could just blog, blog and blog but I would be happier if I know that my writing is able to reach out to others.

So it was timely that this morning, I was told of a great place called Buzzfuse that could help me to market my original content that could drive traffic to my blogs. Of course, this means that I would have to write better and also make my title so interesting that people would have to click on it to read the full post from my blog.

I love the fact that just by clicking on the link, we get to read the entire post of the blogger at his or her own blog. You know some services will give you an excerpt, some will even hijack the full post and that just reduce the potential traffic that you could earn.

I am impressed that some posts managed to receive a few hundred views and I admit, I could certainly do with that volume of traffic! I have just submitted my post to Buzzfuse and I am hoping that traffic will start flowing in anytime soon. Of course, I am not hoping for a miracle but I have so many posts that I could try later. It’s so easy to just add a code to my posts.

First, we are required to invite a total of ten people to be able to release our content to the public. I was also told that we could even use this free service to market our paid reviews. Well, I think that is awesome but we should not abuse this free marketplace!

Next2Friends Member Get Member Drive

Like I suspected, Next2Friends may have lots of goodies to give away but they are only giving them to top recruiters. So this means that I will not have the chance to win a laptop or iPod because I never ask friends and family to join any website, especially sites like these which are for younger people.

I should have known better that the organizers would not make it easy for us to win stuff but I had hoped that they would do a lucky pick or sweepstakes or declare that member number XXX is the winner, just for being number XXX!

So this site will just be another that I have registered myself with but will do nothing about my profile. I won’t even remember to log in unless I have a message waiting, speaking of which a “girl” has already requested to be my “friend”. *SIGH*
