OMG!!! This Is SO DUMB!

I can’t believe there are people who are this dumb. Well, as you know, there have been unwarranted cries of cheating and many of us have been accused, rightly or wrongly, of being cheaters. What a lark. Let the person who is not a cheater to call someone that.

For people who thought they were so righteous, they have been found to cheat the system of another marketplace. Hahaha how can there be people this dumb who would place all links from separate assignments into ONE blog post?

Is this ignorance? Is this an inability to understand simple instructions when all the guidelines are set forth in every email? Now, who was it who said that people from non-speaking English countries are not able to understand English and do not have a good grasp of the language?

Well, you just can’t hit a whole boat of people with a stick. There are people with good language skills and there are people without. And then there are people with average skills, in Malaysia, in the United States and in all countries in between.

Yes I am still sore to be labeled a cheater publicly. You can’t call me that when you did not inform me of the changed in the rules mid-game.

But for this stern warning issued by this particular marketplace, boy, oh, boy, aren’t they all cheaters as well? Or are they too dumb to understand simple English?

Writing Too Much or Too Little?

Sometimes I feel like I am writing too many posts but sometimes I feel like I am so free, not writing anything and miss blogging! Actually, am how many posts do I write daily? You may not know it and may feel that my blog may seem so quiet, but I blog consistently on a daily basis and even though I may not publish my posts, I blog and save them all in my Draft folders.

I believe in writing in advanced and will always have a bunch of posts saved up, which I call them my ammunition! Weird, huh? But all the drafts give me a sense of security, knowing that my posts will self-publish should I be too busy to attend to blogging or if I do not have access to the computer or internet.

Some people have asked me why I do not publish them as and when my posts are written. Well, I write more than ten original blog posts across my blogs and if I were to publish them all it would be overwhelming for readers and also would push my sponsored posts way down or even off the main page. That wouldn’t be good, would it?

Value In A 3 – 5 Line Post

I have been blog hopping reading random postie blogs and I see so many people either having a whole page of sponsored posts or have short posts as long as only three to five lines.

I would like to know, is there any value in such a short post? What is a blog? Posts as short as that make the blog seem like a notice board and as far as I can see, ultra short posts like that cannot convey any good information to the reader and there really isn’t any value to at it all. Sooner or later, people won’t even bother coming by to read. I know I won’t.

To me, a blog post have to be at least 140 words to be of any value to the reader and taking this into account, I do not see what good a three to five line “interim” post will do. What do you think?

Moo No More

By now, I am sure the whole internet world knows that there is no more John Cow and johncow.com redirects to JohnChow.com instead. Oh wow, what an additional number of links to the already heavyweight.

Anyway, if you read my other entry on John the Cow, you would know that I am no fan of his. Sure, he is rather funny at first but I don’t believe that he’s doing it right by riding on another person’s fame and making fun of his family name. This is very disrespectful in Chinese culture.

Anyway, now that the cow is being led to the slaughter house, so to speak, or at least being milked dry, what happens to the contest where we were promised a prize worth $500? Ah ….. there goes my Sony Playstation 3.

Well, I didn’t believe one bit that I would win anyway, not after I made fun of his mad cow a$$ 😀 but he did ask for a link with the keyword “mad cow” and that was the best I could come up with!

Sandwich Your Opps!

I am not sure how many people know about it. Well, I did not know either until the end of July, when the issue was already set in early June, 2007. Ah, how does one run a community driven company if the community are not in the loop?

From what I see, many people are in the dark and I believe in the good of people and that they are not out with the intention to “cheat”. Now, I have placed the word cheat in inverted commas because I think it is a word that is too strong. Who is cheating what?

Now, IF you are a blogger who blogs for pay, you would know that there is only one marketplace who terms sponsored posts as “opps”. I definitely will not name names but you know it and I know it.

So, sandwich your opps with original posts. This is the new (not so new now) terms of service. We do not want to VIOLATE and ToS, do we? No longer is an INTERIM sufficient. An Interim is something in between; a Pause. Tell me otherwise! Sandwiching is the WORD now. Out goes the window for INTERIM. It is not longer applicable.

While I may have violated the new (not so new now) ToS, I still believe that I have been witch hunted. And this is the price I have to pay for being near the top.

What Kind of Blogger Are You?

I was at BlogThings.com looking for a quiz because I saw it on somebody’s blog but I got distracted with all the other interesting quizzes that I ended up doing them rather than the one I went looking for. By the way, I did not manage to find it!

So anyway, I did quite a few. I find that these quizzes are rather accurate if we are true to ourselves in answering the questions in the first place. So the quiz that I am going to publish to keep to the theme of this blog is, What Kind of Blogger Are You?

This is of course so true for my posts on my general blog, An Anonymous Journal. Only thing is, I wish that I have successfully made my posts as interesting as possible, yet sticking to the truth about my life and the people I come across.

So this is what it says about me. What about you? What kind of blogger are you?

You Are a Life Blogger!

Your blog is the story of your life – a living diary.
If it happens, you blog it. And make it as entertaining as possible.
