Have You Heard of Don Capone, The Voice Over Talent?

I am not sure how many people this side of the world have heard of Don Capone. Well, I have heard him in commercials when I was overseas. His voice is rather distinct yet versatile and could be heard in not only in commercials but also corporate presentations, movie trailers, documentaries, radio and television spots, audio book and internet advertisements, just to name a few. Of course, his resume is so impressive that I can’t write them all here, so you will have to go over to his website to check out his work and the kind of services he offers.

If you browse through Don Capone’s website, you can also hear his voice demo and like I said, he has a very versatile voice and he is very creative to improvise it to suit the occasion. According to the website, Don Capone can put in ANY emotion or accent into his voice. You want funny, you want smooth? Don Capone, a true voice over talent is able to produce just the voice for you.

I have always have a soft spot for talented people but I have been very impressed with the things that Don Capone can do with his voice and the emotions, feelings and imagination he could evoke in the listener.

The Cow Is Alive!!

Holy Cow! John the Cow is still alive and making moooney once more! Ok, I know this is stale news but then I have been too lazy to sit in front of the computer, too lazy to moblog and in short, just too lazy to blog. PERIOD.

Although I am no fan of the cow and did not subscribe to his feed, I am still happy for him that he looks like he is out of the slaughterhouse. He must be if he is back in business by the looks of all the activities on his blog!

And this is surely good news for all of us who have participated in his $500 contest. The cow is back and the contest is on again. I think I would rather have the iPhone now, and not the Playstation 3. Yes, I am fickle-minded. I am a woman after all! 😀

P/S: I forgot to mention that I came across a contest a few days ago that could bag me a cool pair of shades. Natural Health Remedies is giving away a pair of Pilgrim shades worth $115. I am going to enter the contest and keep all my fingers and toes crossed. I need a pair of shades too, in addition to an iPhone and a Playstation 3 another iPhone.

Writing Too Much or Too Little?

Sometimes I feel like I am writing too many posts but sometimes I feel like I am so free, not writing anything and miss blogging! Actually, am how many posts do I write daily? You may not know it and may feel that my blog may seem so quiet, but I blog consistently on a daily basis and even though I may not publish my posts, I blog and save them all in my Draft folders.

I believe in writing in advanced and will always have a bunch of posts saved up, which I call them my ammunition! Weird, huh? But all the drafts give me a sense of security, knowing that my posts will self-publish should I be too busy to attend to blogging or if I do not have access to the computer or internet.

Some people have asked me why I do not publish them as and when my posts are written. Well, I write more than ten original blog posts across my blogs and if I were to publish them all it would be overwhelming for readers and also would push my sponsored posts way down or even off the main page. That wouldn’t be good, would it?

My friend heard that I am contemplating taking a vacation and he told me that one of the most important things about preparing to travel is to get a travel health insurance. Well, to be honest, if he did not mention that, I would not even have thought about it.

I subsequently read up on this and found that actually, most of our existing health or medical insurance are useless out of the country. Whoa, that is really risky! I don’t know how many people know about this and I am pretty sure that there are plenty of people who travel without insurance. It is a pity that they are not duly compensated due to ignorance when something unfortunate happens during their travel.

While doing my research, I came across the website, All Aboard Benefits, which offers international travel health insurance that is valid worldwide. I think one thing that we should be aware of is that there is a type of insurance called trip cancellation insurance where the traveler will receive reimbursement benefits should the trip be suddenly cancelled due to poor health, poor weather conditions or other factors that caused the trip to be interrupted or totally cancelled. This surely provides peace of mind to the traveler knowing that all is not lost should something like this happen.

In any case, if you are planning a trip out of the country, you should plan your insurance coverage as well.
