Wrong Blog

This morning, I accepted a task that should have gone to a more appropriate blog but now it will be on a wrong blog and although some people may not have any qualms about posting any and all topics on their blogs, I try to be as tight as possible when it comes to my niche blogs.

If it was a general blog, I would feel differently because over at my general blog, I write everything on it and they all will fit in without a problem.

Sigh, I know I can write into Customer Service but I like to get my pending tasks completed instantly and not waste time waiting for a reply for my ticket. By the way, I submitted a ticket to them many months ago and it was not replied to so I would rather not write in for this and spend the next couple of days waiting instead of blogging.

So I guess I will have to make an exception this time and hope I will not repeat the same mistake. Sleepless nights will do this to me o.O”

Medtronic’s Sprint Fidelis Recall

This past year, I have blogged about many product recalls. It started with the contact lens solution, a hernia patch, a contraceptive patch, dog food, a children’s toy and some that I have even forgotten about. When I heard about the Medtronic Recall, I jumped at the chance to blog about it. I feel that as a responsible blogger, it is my duty to inform others who may be seeking information on these recalled products. I know from experience that these are traffic drivers. And I just mentioned in a couple of posts below that I love checking my traffic stats!

Also, my cousin sister has an implantable defibrillator to control her irregular heart rhythm when she was only a teenager. I am not sure if she is using Sprint Fidelis since I just found out about this recall and it is now 1am here. I will have to speak to her first thing tomorrow to ask if she using Medtronic defibrillator and if she already knows of this product recall already.

I hope my cousin sister is not using Sprint Fidelis and if she is, she is not using Models 6930, 6931, 6948 or 6949. I read that these models have an exceptionally high level of lead and the side effects of having such a foreign object implanted in our body include various health complications that could lead to death! It is very shocking! So now you know why this particular product recall is so closed to my heart.

I have also read that patients have already engaged attorneys to file lawsuits and seek damages and just like the recall of previous medical devices, some patients have grouped together to file a group lawsuit. I believe that by doing so, they have a greater chance of winning their case or receive a larger compensation. I am not sure if I am right in this, though!

I wonder if my cousin is one of the affected patients, if she could engage a lawyer here to help her with her case.

Google Paid Tribute To Luciano Pavarotti

OK, I know this post is horribly late but eh, I was busy with some other posts that required more urgent attention!

Anyway, did you notice the little image of Luciano Pavarotti on Google on 12th October? In Malaysia, when I noticed it, it was already 13th October. It’s interesting to note that Pavarotti’s likeness was an L on Google. haha! I thought he would make an O better!

I hovered my cursor over the picture and it just wrote “Luciano Pavarotti” and I think they should have written something like “Luciano Pavarotti (October 12, 1935 – September 6, 2007)” so that people would know instantly why Google paid tribute to him.

As a great fan of Luciano Pavarotti myself, I am very glad to have caught this image and took a screen capture of it. Heh.. I told you I use Google daily!

Just now I mentioned that somebody was looking for an attorney and came to my blog. Well, the search term got me curious because I did not know there is such a thing, frankly!

So I went and did a search on the major search engines and was surprised that yes, there is something like Truck Accident Attorneys Los Angeles. These attorneys help the families of commercial truck accident victims seek compensation by doing investigation on the accident itself and to file a lawsuit against the truck driver and his trucking company.

There are also Plane Crash Attorneys Los Angeles who are also like the truck accident attorneys except that they specialize in plane crashes and not truck accidents.

I suspect that these truck accident attorneys could also be plane crash accident attorneys but I may be wrong! I have to tell myself that America is not like Malaysia because Americans are specialists in their fields unlike Malaysians who would have to do EVEYTHING themselves.

And yes, it still puzzles me how that person could manage to look for this search term and come to my blog when there are so many other links to real truck accident attorneys in Los Angeles and other major cities in America!

Need Creativity And Freedom!

I was just talking to a friend and she told me that she is raising her white flag for being asked to write posts that do not allow her an iota of creativity. In one of my posts a long time ago, I mentioned that free form posts rule. I find that even for me, I do one of the best works in free form posts as long as I smoothly and successfully worked the required links into the posts until nobody would even notice them!

Those re the kinds of post I like because I could incorporate personal stories into them and even though it may have links in the posts here and there, they re a part of my own life and what I would generally blog about anyway.

Guided posts are always hard to write and seem stiff. I know that I am not the only one feeling so!

There’s No Truck Accident Lawyer Here

So I just admitted in a previous post, I check my traffic stats daily. Scratch that! A few times a day to try to see if there are people who know me come and read my blog. People who come from the same city as me will give me a fright although I know I am being silly and I am not the only person with internet access in my town!

Anyway, this afternoon, I saw someone searched for Truck Accident Lawyers California and somehow this person landed on my blog. Well, I would like to mention that there are no such information here because this blog is about blogging and websites and not on solicitors and attorneys.

I think that the best bet to look for a Truck Accident Lawyer is to check with the Bar Council or look for the online directory of practicing lawyers who specialize in truck accidents. Yes, that would surely yield better results!

Another good method is of course to ask a friend who is a lawyer. They do a lot of networking and should be able to give a good and reliable recommendation. Don’t you think so? That would be what I would do should I require the services of a lawyer.

I Am Such A Traffic Whore!

Well, I have wanted to write this post for the longest time but never had the chance to really sit down and put my thoughts into words. Hah I have been THAT busy!

The thing that makes me check my stats is not because I get a high when my traffic hits a spike but it is those days that make me look for the source of referral. Not too long ago, a local media site unexpectedly linked to me and THAT forced me to change my ABOUT page because my family reads that media site DAILY!

You can imagine that I kept praying for the day to be over so that new articles would be published to replace the one that has my link on it. EEEkkkk I cannot imagine letting my family members read my blog. That is unthinkable!!

I know many people would think nothing about letting everyone knows their blog address, in fact, the more the merrier but I prefer to keep an anonymous identity on the internet separately from my real life.

Somehow I cannot bring myself to blong on ANYTHING if people who are close to me read my blog. Gah!!!
