Blogger’s Call Card

I got to know of this blogger’s call card called Entrecard which I think it s a good way for us to network and take our blog out to more people on the internet. I have not read through the benefits of having an Entrecard yet, or perhaps my brain has yet to digest how good this is but from what I understand, Entrecards are only open to bloggers who run an English blog and not a splog or spam blog.

After getting our blog approved, we will have to place a widget on our blog where other Entrecard holders get to drop off their cards.

I think this is a pretty neat concept and will take the blog sphere by storm if enough marketing efforts are made. I think once I can make time, I will also get a card for myself provided my blogs are approved. Some people may think that I run spam blogs. Heh!

LG KU990 Viewty

My friend sent me these shots of the LG KU990 Viewty to make me green-eyed. He said that this one totally rocks and coming from a long time smart phone user, I have no choice but to believe him.

According to him, there are many ways to input text and this one will be best for blogging 😀 What I do not like is that he said the iPhone cannot compare to this at all. Cheh…I hate him now :p

I’m waiting for my iPhone to arrive and then I am going to compare the features of them both. Let’s see if the Viewty is the iPhone killer as proclaimed by my friend. I hope iPhone wins, if I get my hands on it lah!

Let’s chant, “iPhone! iPhone! iPhone!”

Only All Inclusive Vacations Now

A long time ago, a friend of mine asked me if I have the chance to go on a holiday and cost is not a problem, where would I go. I told him that I have no idea and perhaps I would just bump around where ever catches my fancy.

Now, I know better and based on the experiences of family and friends, the latest of whom just returned from an All Inclusive Mexico trip, all inclusive vacation is the only way to holiday in style.

Unfortunately, he is no longer with us and so I am unable to show him the fantastic all inclusive holiday packages that are being offered by Karisma Hotels. According to my friends, once you have experienced vacations like these, you would want no other because the rest will never measure up.

Pumpin’ It Up

In my post, Two Rejections, I mentioned that somebody thought that I have a magic wand so that I could improve on my P…R… just like that but this is even better. WICKO of LinkWorth has this image where this guy pumps up his P…R… enthusiastically and it just cracks me up. IF only it’s this easy I would be pumping away 24/7.

In his blog post not too long ago, WICKO mentioned the possible side effects of over pumping:

dizziness, over-clicking, constant looking at your toolbar, less focus, diarrhea, constipation, sleepless nights, drowsiness and confusion (I’ve had mine today). If you are pumping for more than 4 hours, please call a LinkWorth Account Manager at 866.LNK.WRTH immediately. This product is made for men and women as this issue is not gender specific.

I am surprised that he missed out “blindness” haha!

To everyone who has been penisized in this latest round of spanking a couple of days, take care.

P/S: I noticed that StatCounter is back at the top :)

Erroneously Rejected

My friend told me that of all the places that she is a blogger with, only one place is perpetually giving trouble. Well, I know what she means but I have good vibes for this particular company mainly because I have been pretty fortunate with them until my ranks tanked.

The other day, I received a rejection from them. Now, if you are one of their many bloggers caught in the recent spanking, you would know how important it is NOT to receive a rejection because a rejected post may not be able to be resubmitted due to the shortfall in requirements.

To cut the story short, my rejection was because that I submitted more than three posts for the day. Now, I am a very meticulous person and I keep track of all my posts pretty well having been in the game for more than a year now and would you think that I would have such a lapse in judgement that I would submit over my quota and not get paid for whatever extra work I did?

Anyway, I have reason to believe that besides a name change, this company has outsourced their review work to India. If you noticed, you most probably have also received approval notices in the evenings, our time. No sane American would do review work in the middle of the night, I tell you!

So, outsourcing to India is fine but not when they were not briefed that we accept opportunities based on American time, specifically Eastern Standard Time.

This particular reviewer checked my archives for the whole day Malaysian time from 12am onwards and then told me that I submitted more than my limit. Sure, as it was over a TWO day period over in America. Moreover, this person picked out other opportunities supposedly from this marketplace when they were not.

I am just lucky that I still managed to resubmit my post so let’s see how things go.

Making Hobbies Profitable

I mentioned in an earlier post today that I was at a wedding dinner a couple pf weeks ago. I met an old friend of mine at the dinner and he told me that he is into numismatics now. Well, I always knew that he was into coin collecting and I thought that was just a hobby for him but it looks like he is going to make it into a career too, or at least something that would earn him a profit.

I think that it’s a great idea to turn our hobbies into money making concerns. Like a friend suggested that since I spend countless of hours online, I might as well set up an ecommerce store, sell something and make some money but I am too lazy.

Perhaps I will just invest into rare coins like this friend of mine!

Windows Live Services

I received an email from Windows Live Team yesterday. I am surprised that it was just yesterday because I had to dig out the email from the bottom of the page just now!

Anyway, it seems that we could download this Windows Live software for our desktop or something. I never bothered to check out what’s so great about it.

All I want is for Hotmail to support IMAP. Why is it so difficult to open up the mail and let every free Hotmail account holder to access their email wherever??? I do know that Hotmail has the option for us to forward our email to another email address but taking this action would cause the email to be deleted from out Hotmail account. That sucks.

And they require that we log into our Hotmail accounts regularly or the account itself will be deleted due to inactivity. This sucks big time.

So, MSN, are you listening???
