Since yesterday morning when I laid my hands on my new iPhone, I have been searching all over the internet trying to make it work. It’s a very stunning phone and a form factor that no mobile device ever had so far. I am sure every one would go “Whoa” when they see one. However, I hope that I won’t smash it first for being un-cooperative.

I will be writing a post on my iPhone soon after I have gotten it to work because right now, I am not as enthusiastic as I would have been towards a fully-functional iPhone.

So, if you know me, you will know that I always get myself obsessed over something and this time, making the iPhone work is top priority. Blogging takes a back seat and it’s about time too!

Regular blogging will return once I have found the key to the iPhone!

Crush Or Flush? Your Call

Since upgrading my cell phone to an advanced camera phone and mobile device which could do more than making and receiving calls and text messages, I have become more aware of websites that cater to high end mobile device users. One of the innovative sites that I chanced upon today is called Crush or Flush.

It’s a fun social networking site where upon successful registration, we can create a profile on the site and upload a photo via our mobile device. Then browse profiles of other members and either Crush or Flush them. We crush people we like and Flush those that we do not like.

And if both of you Crush each other forming mutual attraction, then you can proceed to know each other at a deeper level via text messaging but your real contact information will not be compromised.

I think that the features provided here make for a safe environment for us to expand our social circle online and meet people in a controlled manner.

The Luxurious Isuzu Ascender

When I was a kid, any 4-wheel drive vehicles would be considered as a “working car” but if you have been following the trend, SUVs are getting more and more luxurious, they are no longer considered “working cars” but vehicles that exude a sense a class and prestige. You will know what I mean if you have the chance to check out the latest Isuzu SUV.

Isuzu has named their latest baby Ascender. The name itself has a good ring to it and my father, a long time Isuzu (not Isuzu trucks, OK!) user, has been telling me that it is high time to upgrade his vehicle.

While I have always told him that it is not good to “chase” after newer and newer models because we never will be able to catch up with the production of cars, this time, I have to admit that I am also wishing for an upgrade because the Isuzu Ascender is a beautiful vehicle a class of its own.

Practice Makes Perfect

The other day, I managed to successfully customize a WordPress theme all by myself. I was so damn proud because a year ago, I was totally lost in CSS coding and I would keep asking for help every single turn. I was so afraid to start my self-hosted blogs because nobody has the time to help me out and I would practically have to beg for help.

Fast forward one year later, I am now more proficient in customizing WordPress templates though I would not say that I am an expert already! I still do not feel confident enough and I am sure that I have messed certain codes that rendered it not as robot friendly but I don’t care as long as my pages display well on my browser as I want them haha!

I know a couple of people who are so good with their CSS codes that they have turned them into profitable home based business opportunities. As for me, this is not something that I would want to do on a daily basis. I would rather try my luck in sweepstakes. Depending on Lady Luck is an easier way for me to get my hands on some pocket change!

It’s the end of the year and I have been bombarded by friends with their year end holiday planning. Oh, how I envy them! It’s high time I take a vacation as well but I just can’t seem to find the time.

From what I hear the trend now is to go on all inclusive vacations where everything will be provided for and what we have to do is just to turn up! Isn’t it exciting that we no longer have to do all the nitty gritty planning and stress out ourselves?

A friend of mine has already made reservations for one of those all inclusive resorts. According to him, these are very popular in the Caribbean and Jamaica too and I guess it is true what the many all inclusive Jamaica travel packages that I read.

If you check out the website of SuperClubs resorts, you will understand why all inclusive Jamaica resorts are so well accepted. They are simple marvelous!

Guest Blogger

Recently, I have been reading quite a few great articles on building traffic to my blogs. I have to admit that with a slew of blogs, I am left with no time to network and build my readership. One can only do so much within 24 hours a day, right?

One of the methods to build your readership is by being a guest author of a more established blog. It’s kinda funny that if you are this small blogger, do you think that established bloggers would want you as a guest? I have a couple of friends who are prominent bloggers locally but they never offered a spot for me because they are afraid that I will pollute their blogs. Haha!

I think coincidentally, John Chow recently wrote a post about building traffic via guest blogging too.

Well, guess what? This morning, I was offered a guest spot on a more established blog (than mine) and of course I would love to take up but I wonder what I should write about and if my piece(s) would be well accepted. You know, I would like to think that I could write about anything and everything but the truth may be far from it. Hahah!
