I have been checking up on walk in bathtubs for seniors on the internet just to be prepared as my parents are not getting younger by the day. Both are still fit and healthy now, thankfully, but one never knows what is in store in the future.
I actually started to read up on walk in bathtubs when a friend’s father slipped in the bathroom, knocked his head against the wall and passed away. That incident gave all of us a scare and it made me realize how important having a walk in bathtub is, not only for the elderly but also for someone who has a knee problem or temporary leg injury, for example.
While I wasn’t able to afford a walk in bathtub a couple of years ago, I am glad to see that prices of such bathtubs are a lot more affordable now. In fact, due to price tags that are budget-friendly, I believe all households, especially those with seniors, should give priority to the installation of walk in bath tubs.
Although my parents are still doing fine now, I still am giving this top priority. Certainly, with a walk in bathtub, an accident that happened to my friend’s father could be avoided and it is the children’s responsibility to see to that.
