New Cable TV Operator Tomorrow

Malaysia will see a new cable TV operator tomorrow, a new company that vows to take on giant, Astro. While it would take time to see if they can take on Astro successfully, where other similar companies have failed, one has to take his hat off to them for having the guts to do so.

Cable TV is definitely very competitive even in Malaysia, where there’s free TV and so much more content on the internet. Obviously cable TV is different but if their pricing is not attractive, then they cannot fight with Astro. And Astro will continue to monopolize the cable TV market in Malaysia.

SMT Stencils By Fine Line Stencil

A friend was looking for high quality stencils, so I suggested he check out Fine Line Stencil’s SMT Stencils. This company is a major manufacturer of laser stencils, using state-of-the-art equipment. Fine Line Stencil is a manufacturer and not a third party supplier, so placing an order with them, one is assured that a high standard is met.

As technology advances, electronic components used become smaller and smaller and Fine Line Stencil is able to catch up with technology. Therefore, buyers of stencils would not go wrong by going with the best in the industry. Check out Fine Line Stencil’s extensive range of products.

Google Music Coming Soon

Google is working hard on music licensing in order to launch their Google Music, to enable Android users to download music on their phone, something like iTunes but not quite. However, Google Music seemed like they are “stuck” as Sony Music and Warner Music, two giant labels, have thus far not agreed to allow Google to sell recordings from their artists in the download music store.

While Google may think it is important to offer music downloads to users of Android, I wonder why they bother when there’s so much free music on the internet, why pay for it? Even if Google does offer a music download store, it may not be successful, just like how Android apps, on the whole, are not that successful.

Tablet Or Big Screen Handphone

I am looking to buy a gift for my dad. He wants a tablet and a new handphone. I can’t decide which to get him, since I hope to get him one item that he could use two functions – a handphone and at the same time, browse comfortably.

While only Samsung Galaxy Tab 7in can function as a mobile phone, besides the China brands, the larger tablets cannot be used as a mobile phone. Hence, he would require two separate gadgets. That would be bulky and clumsy.

I would like to get him a phone with large screen. And right now, the only nice phones with screens large enough for a senior citizen to surf the web comfortably seems to be Samsung only. What’s your opinion? Any advice?

Medicaid & Medicare Fraud Expert

A friend told me about a Medicaid fraud case which he read in the papers recently. My friend believes that the doctor is innocent and that he has been wrongly charged. I have no opinion, since I am not familiar with Medicaid or Medicare. However, I do believe that he is in desperate need of a medicaid fraud attorney!

Attorney George Murphy is an expert on Medicaid and Medicare fraud cases and have handled many of these federal charges in the United States. He is the man to look for if one gets charged for fraud like the case mentioned above. Contact the lawyer by clicking on the link I enclosed.

Weight vs. Technology

My friend was telling me that he’s interested in the two new laptops that are as thin as Macbook Air. He asked me if I read about them. I have not since I am not looking to buy a laptop. However, I believe that it is not a matter of weight but technology.

There is no point buying something very light but does not work as well or last very long. I am not saying that we should all rush to buy a Macbook Air, neither am I saying that I wouldn’t mind a brick laptop as long as it has the most powerful processor. Weight has to be reasonable too.

Replacement For First Generation iPod Nano

Apple has issued a statement that battery of their first generation iPod Nano runs the risk of exploding. That sounds pretty dangerous! In view of this, they are giving a replacement for all first generation iPod Nano.

The company did not mention of this exercise is valid worldwide or only in the United States. No model was indicated as well or how this is done. However, if you give them a call, I am sure you will be able to get all your questions answered.
