Have you heard of Topiramate, that goes by the brand name of Topamax, has been linked to cleft lip birth defect. Some of the defects are so serious, babies spot an open groove from the roof of mouth to nose. What a sight!

According to a report, the number of internet users worldwide last year hit 2.1 billion. The break down of this number according to geographical location is as follows:

922.2m in Asia
476.2m in Europe
271.1m in North America
215.9m in Latin America and the Caribbean
118.6m in Africa
68.6m in the Middle East
21.3m in Oceania and Australasia

The number of internet users in China was 485 million.

As for the number of websites, there were 555 million, 300 million of them were added just last year.

Facebook alone had over 800 million users, some 200 million accounts were set up in 2011. 350 million Facebook users logged in via mobile phones.

Junk Advertisements From Android App

I recently downloaded an application on my Android-powered smart phone. At the same time, i upgraded some of my existing apps. I found out that after doing so, there is spam advertisement on my phone, appearing at my notification bar. Clicking on the small icon takes me to my web browser, and the page would entice me to download something from them.

I am so pissed off. Frankly, this sounds extremely fishy and I might add, could be illegal intrusion. Of course, I do not download anything from that web browser but it still annoys me no end. The problem is I don’t even know which app it comes from!

Back To Blogging Again

A friend, who took a two-year hiatus from blogging, to concentrate on her other work, has decided to go back to blogging. She used to earn a lot from her blogging work, and she obviously spent a lot of time on it as well. She feels that if she could do that previously, she could do it again. She seemed extremely determined.

I sat down with her yesterday afternoon and we bounced some ideas off each other. I wonder if I should go back to blogging full time again like we used to. This past year, I have spent more time away from home than ever. I am on the move so much, I have fallen ill more than a couple of times. Perhaps I should just go back to my previous work?
