Tips to alter the size of paper you want to use in Microsoft Word

The sizes and types of papers are determined by the printer during setup. The user then enters the paper settings on the main page of setup. These sections will show how to modify the settings for specific sizes or paper types.

o Create a custom paper width or type on the manufacturer’s setup page.o Register a custom paper height using the driver for the printer. If the custom paper’s height exceeds 432 millimeters (17in) then utilize the back output tray instead of the standard tray.o In the Print dialog box, select “Fit to” and move the tray to exactly the position where you want your custom paper to be printed.

o To change the width of the paper you want to print go to the Printing Setup tab. Underneath the section that says “Printer Properties,” click “IKBS.” Click “slider” in the General section. Move the sliders to your right until you see “Invalid Setup Value?” Click “OK” If you see “Invalid Setup Value?”

o To change the custom width go to the Printing Setup tab. Click “IKBS” Click “slider” in the General section. Slide the sliders to your left until you see “Invalid Setup Value?” “, and paper writings click ” ok.” In the Print Results section, you will see the new size and width.

o Use the arrow keys to move the sliders to the left until you see “Change Custom Paper Widths.” If you hold down the shift key before pressing the enter button the number of pages you can change from is automatically set. To change the size of the tray and sheets first, open the Printing Setup. Under “Printers and Paper: Custom Paper Sizes,” select the appropriate sizes of paper for the printer you are using. Then, choose the setting that displays an automatic tray switch function. If you print another document, the printer driver will adjust the size of the tray or sheet to meet your printing requirements.

o To change the size of your custom page first, navigate to the Printing Setup and then click on “page size.” In the drop-down menu, choose the desired custom size. Select “stretch” to stretch the page before printing. In other cases, the current size will be used. You can alter the size by selecting “set new size” from the pull-down menu.

To print white or black documents, change the size of the paper in the Printing Setup to white or black. Then, select “print.” The new size will be printed on the document page. You can change the color by selecting the desired color and then setting it in the drop-down menu.

If the paper’s length exceeds 430 mm (17 inches) then set the size of your custom as large as is possible. If you’re using a non-printer driver, verify the height of the tray. In the pull-down menu select “auto tray Height”. The driver for printing will calculate the proper height automatically based on your display height. If this option isn’t available, the maximum tray depth will be used.

o To increase the tray’s depth, click “set depth to default.” This option is only available for the non-printer tray. Once you have selected the depth that you want, the maximum depth will be used. If your document is printed on a heavier paper, like a thicker one, such as aight, or bond paper, it is not necessary to increase the depth over the 297 mm.

Always open the file menu before printing documents. Click on the “file icon” instead of the “Printing” button. Some printers let you access the menu for files by clicking the “print” button instead. Some printers require you click on the “print button” before you can change the size to your specifications. You can always access the file menu by clicking on the “print” button instead of the ” Printing” button.

When you have finished customizing the paper size and you are ready to print, hit the “ok” button on the PRINTS & Folds screen. The custom size paper will be applied to the document. The entire process will take just a few seconds. If there are any errors, you will see an error message appear, or you can enter a new password. If you don’t see an error message, your custom paper size was applied successfully.
