Your Blogs Wont Run Away
July 26, 2008 – 5:24 amIt’s funny that when I was new to blogging and had only one blog, I was a little worried each time I did not get to update it. I felt like people were expecting my new posts. But no matter how sometimes I wish that I could public a couple of new posts a day, life could get in the way.
Then I started more and more blogs and frankly, I am immune to the feeling of guilt when I do not have the time or mood to update them. I came to realize that even if we do not update it for months or in some cases, one year, the blog will still be there. It will not erupt and self destruct or whatever, as long as we keep the domain name and hosting alive. LOL
So yes, if you feel like you are “chained” to blogging, perhaps it is time to get a breather and stay away from your blog(s) for a little while. I know I do that a lot of the time. Try it and see if you will feel more refreshed when you start to blog again.
Hello and welcome to my blog. I would love to receive your comments! If you wish to be updated on new content, do subscribe to my RSS feed on your feed reader or via email. Thanks for visiting!

There are drawbacks to letting a blog sit though, as you’ll lose subscribers and readers if you don’t keep it up to date. People also tend to lose interest or focus when they step away for too long. But yes, everyone needs a day or two off sometimes!
