EntreCard & SeyzWho

I am sure everyone who uses EntreCard would have read about the collaboration with SeyzWho and credits will be awarded to members who comment on blogs that are in the EC community.

I think that it is a good effort to drive real traffic to blogs, instead of just doing stuff in our dashboard which does not bring traffic. I even think that advertising spots on out EC widgets should be purchased from members’ blogs.

However, I refrained from singing up with SeyzWho and waited for other members to implement it. Boy, I am glad that I did not do it. Like I passionately hate pop ups as I said in my previous post, I have things that pop up on my screen, small windows, bubbles, whatever, as I move my mouse across the page.

And SeyzWho will do exactly that. I don’t know if we need to implement special code or whatever, but the link to blog comments would not pop up a window detailing the comments that he/she has left recently and the comment rating.

And then there’s a widget that I noticed on some blogs that have been placed on the sidebar which POPS UP as well. I wonder if this is part of the EC collaboration as well. Whatever the case, this is not something for me. What about you?
