A friend of mine was involved in a major accident that caused him a lot of pain. He underwent numerous operations and to help him to cope with the pain, he was prescribed with heavy dosage of painkillers. However, as time passed, my friend’s scars healed and yet he had the fear that should he stop taking the painkillers, he would be in terrible pain again. So that was how he ended up being addicted to painkillers but luckily all’s well, ends well.
My friend managed to kick his habit with the help of professionals at an addiction treatment center like Sunset Malibu, except that it was not as posh!
