Improve PR With Online Directory Submissions
November 4, 2007 – 12:52 pmForgive me if I keep harping on and on about losing my Page Rank. You would be doing the same thing too if you lost two ranks for every blog that you have, like what happened to me. Talks about being penalized for selling links do not hold water because my friends are down by one rank even though they do not sell links. Heck, they don’t even have any advertisement on their site. Perhaps they should implement AdSense?
This morning, I discovered this website called PageRankSubmit.com. What they do is to help us submit our URL to a hundred web directories that have at least a Page Rank of 5. These are free directories but PageRankSubmit is charging a very reasonable $29 for “labor” because they are doing it manually. Manual submission means that each submission is valid and will not return an error.
Honestly, I am desperate for my Page Rank to move higher after the recent demotion. $29 is a great price even though I have more than ten links to submit. Just for your information, $29 is already discounted. I understand that they used to charge $39 per link.
I have actually known all along that directory submissions would help my Page Rank but I never got around to it because I was too busy blogging. If $29 is only what it takes to free up my time so that I do not have to do it myself, I am prepared to pay it.
What about you?

Hmmm. That $29 might be a really good investment. Have you done it? Google has not been kind to me. They gave me PR in the last update and then took it away two days later.. Yikes. I’d be interested to hear some more of your experiences. ~Jerry

Hi Jerry,
I am sorry to hear of your PR.
I haven’t tried the service mainly because I have many sites and I am half afraid that my domain name may have been blacklisted because even blogs that do not have paid links are also down by two. It’s so disheartening.
Also, I am not sure if the directories will accept sites that are monetized.
