How Much Time?

How much time do you spend fighting spam every day? I think that with four WordPress blogs, I am spending at least THREE hours going through my Spam folder trying to pick up legitimate comments from there. I have tried to De-Spam the same people over and over again and yet the same problem occurs. I think it has something to do with Akismet or WordPress loophole.

Sometimes I get so angry with the wasted time that I just want to click DELETE ALL without checking the eleven pages of spam but then I would feel bad if my comment received a similar treatment. I don’t want any misunderstanding.

But sometimes I think that I should just close comments!

I know I have written a few posts on spam comment and if you have read them you would know why it is such a big issue to me. However, today, I went to a blog and saw the Spam counter with more than a million spam comments. Oh my god
