Copy Cat
October 8, 2007 – 11:24 pmI just found out that a blogger whom I consider a friend copied parts one of my many sponsored posts. I am not going to report her though, but I am lucky that I submitted my post before her.
I was the one who told her about the new opportunity and after she reserved it, asked me what it is all about because she did not understand the requirements after reading the description. I told her the gist of it but she wanted to read my post so I passed the link to her.
Next thing I knew, parts of my own post were copied to her post and she submitted it.
What can I say? In this business, you can’t trust anyone at all. I will of course never divulge any of my post ideas sponsored or otherwise, to anyone unless they have been submitted or published. Once the post is in public view then there is nothing much that I cam do. My content has been the target of scrapper sites lately and there is nothing I can do to stop them.
